The daughter of Beatriz Moreno y de Borbón and Lucas Urquijo y Fernandez-Araoz, Teresa Urquijo y Moreno is the granddaughter of Princess Teresa of Bourbon-Two Sicilies, Duchess of Salerno and Marchioness of Laserna and a great-granddaughter of Infante Alfonso, Duke of Calabria and Infanta Alicia, Duchess of Calabria.
Teresa Urquijo y Moreno wore the Wedding Dress worn by her mother, Beatriz Moreno y de Borbón, in 1995, and her grandmother, Princess Teresa of Bourbon-Two Sicilies, in 1963.
Queen Sofia of Spain only attended the Wedding Reception.
