Jennifer Lopez was the musical guest on the February 3 episode of Saturday Night Live, where she brought out Redman and Latto during a performance of her recent single “Can’t Get Enough.” Lopez returned to the stage later and debuted a new ballad called “This Is Me…Now”—the title track of her forthcoming album. Watch both of Lopez’s performances on the Ayo Edebiri–hosted episode below.

While Lopez did not appear in any SNL sketches, one titled “Why’d You Say It” alluded to a podcast episode from four years ago in which Edebiri referred to Lopez’s career as a “scam.” The SNL skit revolved around a gameshow whose contestants are confronted with mean Instagram comments they’ve left in the past.

At one point, Edebiri’s character says: “OK, OK, we get it. It’s wrong to leave mean comments or post comments just for clout or run your mouth on a podcast and you don’t consider the impact because you’re 24 and stupid. But I think I speak for everyone when I say from now on, we’re going to be a lot more thoughtful about what we post online!”

Jennifer Lopez’s This Is Me…Now is out February 16. Read more about it in “The 50 Most Anticipated Albums of 2024.”
