A Wake Forest man has been charged with murdering his sister and assaulting his mother.
Court documents show Edmond Dwayne Eaddy was charged with the murder of Nyla Denae Eaddy, his 24-year-old sister. Dena Coston Eaddy, his mother, was assaulted with a knife.
Edmond Eaddy, 20, was charged with murder and assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill or inflict serious injury.
A town spokesperson confirmed the crimes happened at a home on Polanski Drive. Police responded to a reported stabbing just before midnight on Wednesday.
Edmond Eaddy is being held on no bond at Wake County Detention Center. He will appear in court on Thursday.
