(FOX40.COM) — Shocking video footage shows the moments a Northern California high school campus turned violent after a student picked a physical fight with a staff member, resulting in the boy getting body slammed to the ground.

On Tuesday, a student at Lincoln High School in Placer County reportedly got into a verbal altercation with staff. A shocking viral video that’s been making its rounds on the internet shows the argument escalating when the student, a boy, violently attacks a staff member. The boy seemingly punches the mail staffer once, then continues to swing at him.
As the staff member proceeds to walk away from the incident, video footage shows an officer swoop in and violently body slam the boy to the ground, putting an abrupt end to the fight. It is unclear what started the altercation.
