Veterans Appreciation Event at University City United Methodist Church Sept. 12: music, free dinner, more

University City United Methodist Church, at 3835 West WT Harris Blvd, Charlotte, North Carolina, is hosting a Veterans Appreciation Event on Friday, September 12, 2025, from 6 to 8 p.m.

This event is free and open to the public. Registration is required.

Veterans and their family members are especially invited. Friends of veterans are also encouraged to attend.

The event features a free dinner catered by R & R Barbecue of Concord, NC.

Music will be provided by the UCUMC Celebration Choir, soloists, and Alisha Springer, pianist.

The guest speaker is Captain John Bryan, US NAVY (Retired).

Childcare for birth through 5 years is provided. Registration is required.
