Event venue sourcing startup The Vendry has launched a Chrome browser extension that displays additional information about event vendors and venues, the company announced Tuesday.

Called Copilot, the extension provides users visiting a venue or vendor website with a pop-up of information, including press articles, events and other data from Vendry, according to the company. Users can then use Copilot to upload files, write notes or request a proposal from venues or vendors without leaving the website, according to Vendry

Copilot is available now for free for The Vendry users.

The news follows Vendry’s securing of a $6.5 million investment from New York City venture firms to produce a new venue and vendor sourcing platform, announced in November.
