Earlier this year, it was revealed that Ryan Seacrest will be replacing Pat Sajak when he steps down as the host of “Wheel Of Fortune” at the end of this season. Vanna White will be staying on the game show, and she’s been given a cheeky warning about her future co-host Seacrest.

White Warned About Seacrest

While appearing on “Live with Kelly and Mark” this week, White immediately asked for advice about working with Seacrest, who hosted the ABC talk show “Live With Kelly and Ryan” with Kelly Ripa for six years.

“Tell me everything,” White said to Ripa and Mark Consuelos, who replaced Seacrest on the show.

“He can’t spell,” Consuelos warned, with Ripa immediately agreeing and saying, “Yeah, he cannot spell at all.”

White was visibly shocked by this warning, and Consuelos asked if she’d noticed any misspellings in her text exchanges with Seacrest, with her saying that she had not.

“Maybe he’s on his best behavior?” White asked.

“Maybe he’s dictating the text, and somebody’s typing it for him,” Ripa replied. “Because I will say — and I can say this freely, we all have experienced it here — when Ryan Seacrest texts you, you say to yourself, ‘This person is trying to tell me something.’ That’s the first thing that you realize that Ryan is trying to tell you something, but oftentimes, you just don’t know what that is.”

White’s Advice For Seacrest

White was previously asked what advice she’d give to Seacrest for hosting “Wheel Of Fortune.”

“You have to know the alphabet,” White said, according to Fox News. “He’s professional. He’s going to be just fine.”

White went on to say that she plans to get to know Seacrest “very well.”

“I called him to congratulate him on becoming the host,” she continued. “He was just so kind, and so he goes, ‘Look, no one’s ever going to replace Pat. I’m not trying to replace Pat. I’m just thrilled to be able to work with you, and I’ll do whatever it takes. Please teach me whatever I need to know.’”

Sajak Retires – Seacrest Named As His Replacement

Sajak shocked the world when he announced back in June that he would be retiring after hosting “Wheel Of Fortune” since 1981.

“Well, the time has come. I’ve decided that our 41st season, which begins in September, will be my last,” he said at the time. “It’s been a wonderful ride, and I’ll have more to say in the coming months. Many thanks to you all. (If nothing else, it’ll keep the clickbait sites busy!)”

Seacrest spoke out to say that he was honored to taking over Sajak’s hosting role.

“I’m truly humbled to be stepping into the footsteps of the legendary Pat Sajak,” Seacrest said in a statement, according to Variety. “I can say, along with the rest of America, that it’s been a privilege and pure joy to watch Pat and Vanna on our television screens for an unprecedented 40 years, making us smile every night and feel right at home with them.”

“Pat, I love the way you’ve always celebrated the contestants and made viewers at home feel at ease,” he continued. “I look forward to learning everything I can from you during this transition.”

It will certainly be interesting to see how Seacrest does hosting this iconic game show. With White by his side to help, we’re sure he’ll do just fine!
