United Airlines has promoted Diana Loaces to managing director of global corporate accounts, effective Oct. 9, according to a Tuesday internal memo from United SVP of worldwide sales Doreen Burse. Loaces now reports directly to Burse and succeeds Aileen Furlong in the position. Furlong has left United, according to the carrier.

Loaces will be responsible for setting and leading United’s global corporate account strategy, according to the memo, and has more than 22 years of experience in sales at United. Most recently, she was director of global corporate accounts.
