A GRAN who fled a bomb-blitzed Ukrainian city has spoken of the horror of seeing her son killed by a Russian missile in her garden there.
Lydia Davidova, 80, narrowly survived the blast in Bakhmut that was unleashed as part of Russia’s Wagner Group’s scorched earth policy.

But her son Ihor, 60, was killed.
She said: “I saw Ihor lying on the ground.
“His injuries were horrific.
“I could tell right away he was dead.”
The missile had ripped a crater four metres wide and two metres deep.
Brave volunteers ran a gauntlet of artillery fire to rescue her and local charity Globa22 found her food and shelter.
Meanwhile, Ukraine has reportedly changed its plans for a major spring counter-offensive after classified US documents were leaked.
Western intelligence documents also reported that a Russian jet nearly shot down an RAF spy plane over the Black Sea in September.
Defence Secretary Ben Wallace told parliament that Russian fighter jets buzzed the RAF plane and one “released a missile in the vicinity”.
