Russian President Vladimir Putin invited Chinese President Xi Jinping to Moscow for a visit next year as the two leaders affirmed their ties at an online meeting Friday. Ukraine’s military said its air defenses fended off a fresh round of attack drones overnight, a day after a Russian barrage of missiles pummeled the country.
