MÜNSTER, Germany — Ministers from the Group of Seven major industrialized democracies are set to gather for two days starting Thursday to discuss Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. The summit comes about a year after the G7 promised to impose “massive consequences” on Russia if it invaded Ukraine.
The meeting will focus on food and energy security linked to the conflict, including gas shortages and efforts to impose a price cap on Russian oil aimed at sanctioning the Kremlin.
Here’s the latest on the war and its ripple effects across the globe.
