We’ve done quite a few assessments of U Beauty’s luxury formulas as of late—and that includes the skincare brand’s next-level moisturizer, the SUPER Hydrator. The cream offers intense moisture to parched skin, surging it with five different types of hyaluronic acid. And now, U Beauty is taking the product a step further by releasing the best-selling formula in 11 lightweight, adaptable tints.
The SUPER Tinted Hydrator brings all the same transformative benefits as the OG while “imparting a whisper of instant skin-enhancing color, radiance, and warmth” for sheer coverage with a dewy finish, per a press release. Available in a range of shades, the skin tint is buildable and blends into a second skin feel. It instantly provides an “intuitive perfect color match with boosted luminosity, minus the weight of makeup.”
Described as one part moisturizer and one part skin tint, the product goes beyond shielding minor imperfections across the skin. It contains skin-fortifying ingredients that nourish the complexion for up to 48 hours from application, such as U Beauty’s SIREN Capsule Technology that visibly improves texture, fades fine lines and wrinkles and softens dehydrated areas. It features additional soothing and age-defying additives like purified oat extract, peptides, shea butter, avocado oil, organic argan oil and grapeseed oil.
You can certainly add it to your makeup bag, but think of the product as “enhanced skincare” instead of something to replace your go-to base. Use it as a primer, a quick-fix for mornings in a rush, whatever you desire. Just know, it will continue to support your skin barrier with “superior levels of hydration” even after you remove it.
While the original The SUPER Hydrator does bring a little more hydration to the skin than this newly-released version, you’ll still get many of the same benefits—and for $60 less.
