Two people were taken to a hospital after a Jeep crashed into a Fort Worth home on Sunday night.

Police said the vehicle was rear-ended by another car and then drove into the house in the 3700 block of East Berry Street. A resident and the driver of the Jeep were taken to a hospital with unknown injuries.

The red Jeep crashed through a window of the home and pushed a man out of his bedroom, according to neighbors.

One of the neighbors, Shanequa Jones, told Star-Telegram media partner WFAA-TV that the Jeep came across her parents’ lawn before hitting the neighbor’s house.

“All I heard was a boom, boom, boom as you see a car coming up through my mom’s yard and actually go inside those people’s window,” Jones told WFAA.

The driver of the dark-colored sedan that hit the Jeep and caused the accident didn’t stop, police said. Officers were still searching Tuesday for that hit-and-run driver.

“I was just thinking, oh my gosh this could have been us, this could have been anybody,” Jones said.
