Skrillex’s second album in as many days features collaborations with Kid Cudi, Justin Bieber, Pinkpantheress and more.

Surprise.

Just one day after Skrillex raised the curtain on Quest For Fire, his first album in nearly a decade, he’s released his second full-length LP in as many days.

Don’t Get Too Close, which comprises 12 tracks, twists the knife of Skrillex’s affinity for hip-pop. The star-studded album features collaborations with Justin Bieber, Kid Cudi, Yung Lean, Chief Keef and many more.

After years of deeply influential work producing dubstep and propelling the genre into stateside mainstream consciousness, Skrillex established himself as one of the music industry’s most prolific pop producers. As of January 2023, his lifetime streams as a songwriter, engineer and producer exceeded 18 billion, according to data provided to EDM.com by Muso.ai.

Don’t Get Too Close dropped during Skrillex’s momentous concert at Madison Square Garden tonight, which had sold out in a matter of minutes. The electronic music icon is spinning alongside Fred again.. and Four Tet, with whom he performed a pie-in-the-sky pop-up show in Times Square yesterday.
