Tulum Tacos & Tequila, a “barefoot-chic” eatery featuring modern Mexican-themed cuisine with flavors from the Yucatan, is opening  a 130-seat restaurant on Thursday, Dec. 1, at 230 Jericho Turnpike in Mineola.

The menu seemingly offers something for every palate.  For seafood lovers, there are “classic street tacos” with a “light, healthy twist,” keeping in mind the differing preferences of seafood lovers, vegetarians and vegans as well as carnivores.

Also on tap: salads, snacks and mix of desserts. And there is an extensive cocktail menu featuring mezcals, tequilas and other spirits.

Tulum Tacos & Tequila will be open every late afternoon for happy hour (4-6 p.m.) and dinner beginning Dec. 1.

A taco takeout window, marked by a neon sign, will open in early 2023, followed by brunch in the spring.

The 2,500-square-foot restaurant is designed by Amanda Rehbein Studios in Stoneridge, NY, and features a patio for outdoor seating.
