On Tuesday, former President Donald Trump posted a cryptic message about the dangers facing our country.

Notably, Trump warns that America faces far more danger from within than from any possible foreign adversary.

Building off of a post from a Truth Social user that ripped the Democrats for corruption, Trump wrote:

“It was during the Trump Administration that the “Deep State” corruption, and pure hatred of our Country, was fully EXPOSED – No longer just a nasty myth, concept, or idea. This is yet another great achievement, but something must now be done to rid us of this Cancer that is purposely destroying our Nation. There is far more danger from within than anything coming from the outside. We must join together and MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!!!”

January 6 Is Democrat Measuring Stick For Violence

Ever since the Jan. 6, 2021 riot at the Capitol, political pundits and TV talking heads have warning that heightened rhetoric could lead to political violence. But when they talk about it, they make broad implications that it is Trump supporters and other conservatives visiting violence upon more unsuspecting liberals.

While Trump’s post might just be a straight-forward warning about the deep state, I’m seeing more there – about political violence and what comes after 2022.

After all, it didn’t take Rep. Maxine Waters long after Trump was elected in 2016 to encourage harassment against Trump staffers.

Not long after that, Rep. Steve Scalise was gunned down on a baseball field by a crazed Bernie Sanders supporter, nearly killing him. Following the overturning of Roe vs. Wade this summer, a man showed up in front of Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh’s home threatening to assassinate him.

And more recently, President Joe Biden seemed to egg on the left, with a dark and ominous speech under a dark red light where he declared Trump supporting “MAGA Republicans” extremists and “a clear and present danger.”

What Trump’s Truth Social Post Could Really Be

In his Truth Social post, Donald Trump makes no mention of violence from anyone. But there is an election coming, and Republicans are expected to do well across the country, and at least take control of the House, and there is increasing speculation that the GOP will take the Senate as well. Could Trump’s post be a warning?

Does anyone remember the aftermath of the 2016 election? It is something not even Republicans bring up enough, and they should. Not only did Donald Trump win the White House, Republicans had a good night across the country then as well.

On November 11, 2016, USA Today reported that, “For the third night in a row, anti-Donald Trump demonstrators took to the streets in several big cities and on college campuses across the United States, including an outburst of smashed windows and a dumpster fire in Portland that police countered with pepper spray and flash-bang devices.”

In fact, there were major protests of 1,000 people or more in almost every large city in America. In Denver, portions of an interstate were shut down, and in Philadelphia, protesters carried signs that read, “Not our president.”

More recently, for some reason sitting Republican Congressmen are likening Republican voters to fascists and warning that they will be the first to die in a civil war.

Of course, he could just be talking about the deep state and nothing else. And that’s bad enough.
