RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — As expected, North Carolina is heating up as a battleground for the 2024 Presidential Election.

Less than three weeks ago, President Joe Biden was in the state, and this coming weekend, former President Donald Trump will hold a rally at the coast.

A news release from the Trump campaign said the former president, who is the likely Republican nominee, will speak in Wilmington on Saturday, April 20.

Trump will also hold a campaign rally in which he will deliver his remarks, the announcement said.

The event is free and is planned for 7 p.m. Saturday. Doors for the event open at 3 p.m. that day.

As with some events, Trump’s rally will be held at an airport to allow quick access by the former president.

Those wishing to attend can click here to seek tickets to the event at the Aero Center Wilmington at 1830 Flightline Road.
