China’s Trip.Biz, the corporate travel division of the Trip.com Group, has integrated Travalyst’s reporting framework for flight carbon emissions data for its corporate travel bookers.

The framework, which Travalyst said is based on “a set of shared principles and preferred methodology” from all its travel distribution partners, enables Trip.Biz to show emissions data for individual flights as well as a total flight count with estimated emission accumulations. The integration “ensures corporate travel bookers are equipped with the relevant data to make informed, more sustainable travel decisions,” Trip.Biz CEO Steven Zhang said in a statement.

Trip.Biz reports more than 14,000 large-scale corporations as users, including 200 of China’s top 500 enterprises.

Trip.com was among the founding partners of Travalyst—a nonprofit sustainable travel organization founded by Prince Harry, the Duke of Sussex, in 2019—and it already has integrated the organization’s framework in its metasearch and travel agency Skyscanner. Other founding partners include Booking.com, Tripadvisor and Visa, and more recently, Google, Expedia Group, Amadeus and Travelport have joined the coalition.
