Travel management platform TravelPerk and payment and expense provider Pleo have integrated via application programming interface, the companies announced.
With the integration, mutual customers will be able to book through TravelPerk, pay with a Pleo smart card and have receipts automatically sync into the Pleo system for categorization. That cuts manual work required for reconciliation and also can improve value-added tax reconciliation via “a VAT-friendly inventory and VAT-compliant resources,” according to the companies.
The Copenhagen-based Pleo, founded in 2015, currently is live across 16 markets in Europe and has offices in seven European cities. The integration will be introduced to the markets in the coming weeks, according to the companies.
