Today’s Wordle #546 answer, hints and tips for Saturday, December 17 puzzle

[ad_1]

The holiday season has just begun, which naturally means many of us are busier than ever. But what better way to take a break from all the wrapping and cooking, at least for a moment, than a Wordle puzzle?

Wordle was first developed during coronavirus lockdown by software engineer Josh Wardle as a game “for me and my partner to enjoy.”

After being released to the public in October 2021 Wordle quickly developed into a global sensation, and was purchased by the New York Times for an undisclosed seven figure sum in January 2022.

During the same month, Wardle admitted to Newsweek that, despite inventing Wordle, he sometimes still struggles with the puzzles.

The word game Wordle is shown on a mobile phone on January 12, 2022 in Houston, Texas. Newsweek has some hints and tips to help you crack today’s puzzle.

He said: “Well, I did create Wordle and I’m not very good at it, so there’s your answer! I’m afraid I’m not really the best.

“[My partner] and I play it on the couch together each morning. She will consistently get it in three goes, which is way, way better than I can ever hope to achieve. I normally need at least 4 or 5 attempts.”

The popularity of Wordle has helped inspire a number of other online brainteasers, such as Nerdle for math enthusiasts and even Taylordle for fans of hit singer Taylor Swift.

The answer to today’s puzzle will be revealed at the end of this article, so scroll down with caution if you want to work it out for yourself. To help you solve today’s Wordle, Newsweek has provided some hints and tips on the latest game.
