For some fans, news that Denis Villeneuve officially filmed a sequel to 2021’s Dune is exciting because it means we’ll get to spend more time inside his version of the desert planet Arrakis, if only to find out what’s going on with Paul Atredies and his pesky visions.

For the rest of us, the real thrill of a Dune: Part Two is the promise of being able to see two of our most stylish thespians do another press tour together.

Timothée Chalamet, who stars as Paul in the franchise, and Zendaya, who plays Chani, kicked off their Dune reunion tour at CinemaCon in Las Vegas on Tuesday, where they joined director Villeneuve onstage to debut a new trailer for the film. Both stars have been busy lately: Zendaya, speaking of spending time in the desert, gave a surprise performance alongside Euphoria composer Labrinth at Coachella this past weekend. Timmy, meanwhile, is also at CinemaCon to promote his upcoming role as the titular chocolatier in Wonka. “Timmy came back with a lot more knowledge about chocolate,” Villeneuve joked during the Dune presentation.

Nonetheless, the costars arrived in their usual beguiling fashion. Timmy wore archival Helmut Lang, layering one of the designer’s noted leather bulletproof vest tops from Fall 1998 over a plain white tee with matching black moto pants; he also appears to be wearing, as his stans have termed them, his “Venice Haider Ackermann boots.” Z, meanwhile, wore a full look from Louis Vuitton’s Fall 2023 collection—a backless tweed waistcoat and billowing wide-legged trousers. (This makes sense given that Zendaya was named Louis Vuitton’s newest global ambassador earlier this week.)

And beguile they did—they look great! But hear me out. Imagine if they switched outfits. If, instead, it was Timothée who wore the deconstructed Vuitton vest and ballooning trousers, while Zendaya rocked the killer vintage Helmut Lang leather set. Firstly, Timmy already has experience doing a backless moment, and the steampunk-y vibe would be a nice compliment to his Wonka era. (I would not mind if he kept his Ackermann boots on in place of Zendaya’s white Louboutin stilettos, but I would also be impressed if he took up the challenge.) Furthermore, Zendaya, who already looks amazing in everything, could probably crack the internet in half if she started dressing even just 10 percent more like a biker. Although let’s be honest: the very Shane-from-TheLWord ensemble would look great on both of them.
