All lanes of Interstate 5 in both directions will close from 9 pm this Friday until 5 am on Monday, July 1. Southbound traffic will be rerouted at SW Terwilliger Boulevard and northbound traffic will detour from the SW Barbur Boulevard exit. The freeway closure is due to the construction of a new bridge deck over SW 26th Avenue. 

Last year, PICA reimagined the longstanding Time-Based Art Festival as Time-Released, a series of performance artworks that expanded on the fest’s typical 10-day runtime with a slower, more spread-out format. For 2024, TBA is back! The festival will run from September 5–22 with performances and offerings by Yelling Choir, Carla Rossi, Kye Alive, Elbow Room, JJJJJerome Ellis, and many other boundary-pushing artists.
