SACRAMENTO, Calif. — San Jose Police say three people were injured in a shooting at the Westfield Valley Fair Mall in Santa Clara.
Police add that this appears to be an isolated incident and not an active shooter. Out of an abundance of caution, police say officers are evacuating and clearing the mall to confirm there is no ongoing threat to the public.
The people hurt were taken to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
The mall is on the border of San Jose and Santa Clara.
