Happy Monday, GPOD! We recently received a few smaller submissions that were too good not to share, so I’ve gathered them into one post. These three gardens may be very different, but each is filled with color, creativity, and personality. Enjoy!
The first submission comes from Samuel in Ross-on-Wye, Herefordshire, United Kingdom.
Samuel describes his space as a “small front garden with a public walkway down the side.”
Repurposed handbags hanging from the fence create a unique planting display while maximizing growing space in Samuel’s small garden.
Next up is Stephanie from Averill Park, New York. Stephanie says:
My garden is filled with pollinators. One of my favorites is the coneflower (Echinacea purpurea, Zones 3–8). I have been collecting them since first reading about them in Fine Gardening Magazine over 10 years ago.
An explosion of color fills Stephanie’s garden in mid-July, with coneflowers in shades of pink and purple, including ‘Cheyenne Spirit’ coneflower (Echinacea purpurea ‘Cheyenne Spirit, Zones 4–9) and other Echinacea purpurea selections.
Last but not least, we have a submission from Jillora in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. Jillora says:
My medium-sized subdivision garden is filled with pops of color, a mix of perennials and annuals, vegetables tucked among the flowers, and inviting outdoor living spaces.
Bright flowers surround a custom-built swing create a relaxing spot to sit back and enjoy the garden.
