Third And Final Suspect In The Death Of 13-Year-Old Liam Spahnle-Bailey Arrested – KXL

GRESHAM, Ore. – The third and final suspect in the killing of 13-year-old Liam Spahnle-Bailey has been arrested.

Members of the U.S. Marshals Service Pacific Northwest Violent Offender Task Force located and arrested 17-year-old Terrell Coy on Nov. 13 at an apartment in Southeast Portland.

Coy is one of three suspects accused in the April 27th shooting that killed Liam while he slept in his father’s Gresham apartment. Police said gunfire from a neighboring unit traveled through the wall and struck the teen in his bed. Officers and paramedics rendered aid, and Liam was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The East County Major Crimes Team led the investigation into Liam’s death, identifying Coy, along with Anthony Hunter Jr. and Xavier Hirsch, as suspects. A nationwide search followed, involving law enforcement agencies in Oregon, Washington, Arizona and Texas.

Hunter was arrested in Portland in early September. Hirsch was taken into custody in mid-October at a residence in Beaverton.
