Thieves use box truck in Ukrainian Village crash-and-grab burglary, Chicago police say

CHICAGO (WLS) — Thieves target a clothing store in a crash-and-grab burglary in Ukrainian Village Wednesday morning, Chicago police said.

The incident occurred at about 1:48 a.m. in the 2100-block of West Division Street.

Police said the thieves used a box truck to help plow through barricades and break into the business.

Witnesses told police they saw the thieves drive off in a black getaway sedan after stealing items from inside.

No one is in custody and Area Three Detectives are investigating.
