Teyana Taylor put the “bee” in basketball at the premiere of “White Men Can’t Jump.” The singer and actor walked the May 11 red carpet in Los Angeles wearing a printed Supreme beekeeper suit, complete with baggy parachute pants, a button-up jacket, and a matching hood.

Taylor also wore a detachable mask that covered her entire face, letting her bucket hat poke out from beneath the sheer fabric. Beekeeping suits are traditionally intended to shield and protect, but Taylor’s version was designed to stand out with its bold rainbow polka-dot print. “Da Bee-Ball KeepHER,” she captioned the look on Instagram.

Styled by EJ King, Taylor paired her outfit with red monogrammed sneakers from Louis Vuitton’s Nike Air Force 1 collaboration. (Taylor is such a sneakerhead, in fact, she’s dropping her own rose-inspired Air Jordan on June 1.) She completed her look with a black diamond-encrusted manicure.

Beyond her beekeeper realness, Taylor has frequently proven her love for a bold creative concept. Take the tweed Thom Browne dress she recently wore to this year’s Met Gala, which included a faux white button-up and a skirt so tight, she had to hop up the stairs. While this suit is objectively more practical in terms of mobility, we do wonder if Taylor’s vibrant eye mask obscured her vision in any way. Ahead, see why it might’ve been worth it.
