Billionaire investor and noted Tesla (TSL)A bull Ron Baron believes that electric car maker will hit $500 a share in 2025.
Baron expects Tesla to touch $1500 by 2030, he told CNBC in an interview earlier.
Baron Capital owned 17.6 million Tesla (NASDAQ:TSLA) shares as of the end of March, or about $4.5 billion worth of the electric vehicle maker. Baron said he personally owns 5 million shares of Tesla.
“I haven’t sold a single share personally,” Baron added.
Baron has come on the business network several times in recent years and pitched the Elon Musk-led electric vehicle maker as a long. Last April, he said he expected to make 3x–5x on his investment in Tesla in 10 years.
