  • Super Bowl Betting at Nevada Sportsbooks Hits Lowest Level in a Decade

    • Super Bowl betting at Nevada sportsbooks lowest level since 2016
    • $133.8 million wagered at Nevada’s 186 sportsbooks on the big game
    • Unaudited figures show a sportsbook win of over $9.89 million

Super Bowl LX between the Seattle Seahawks and New England Patriots was a super bust on the field, in many ways, and Nevada sportsbooks are walking away disappointed as well.

According to information provided by the Nevada Gaming Control Board, a total of $133.8 million (unaudited) was wagered on the big game across Nevada’s 186 sportsbooks, the lowest level since the 2016 game between the Denver Broncos and Carolina Panthers, Peyton Manning’s final game in the NFL (Denver won 24-10). Gamblers wagered $132.5 million that game.

    Big Decline in Hold Percentage

Last year’s game between the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles generated $151.6 million in bets.

On Sunday, Nevada sportsbooks made $9.89 million from Super Bowl wagering, a 7.4% hold after paying out winning bets, compared to last year when they raked in a record $22.1 million, or 14.6 hold%.

    NFL Betting: Seahawks Dominate

The Seahawks won handily in Sunday’s game at Levi’s Stadium in California, 29-13. Seahawks QB Sam Darnold threw for 202 yards. He didn’t turn the ball over. Running back Kenneth Walker III rushed for 135 yards, on 27 carries, and took home MVP honours.

Seattle’s defence was suffocating, while Patriots’ QB Drake Maye later admitted to injury problems with his right shoulder, his throwing arm, which would explain his ineffectiveness in the game (27/43, 295 yards, two interceptions, and a bleak total QBR of 16.3, an NFL stat that incorporates all of a QB’s contributions to winning, how he impacts the games in rushes, passes, penalties and turnovers).

The game was 9-0 at the half. The first touchdown didn’t come until 13:24 of the fourth quarter.

    Seahawks Cover Spread

The Seahawks went into the game 4.5 point favourites. That line didn’t change much leading to kickoff. DraftKings Sportsbook Director Johnny Avello told us Friday they were seeing Seahawks money on the spread, Patriots money on the moneyline, where New England were underdogs at +190 going in.

Sportsbooks already have odds out for next year’s Super Bowl winner. DraftKings has the Seahawks to repeat at +950, followed by the L.A. Rams at +950, the Buffalo Bills at +1100, the Philadelphia Eagles at +1300, and the Patriots at +1300. At FanDuel it’s Seahawks +750, Rams +800, Baltimore Ravens +1200, Bills +1200, and Green Bay Packers +1300.

  • Super Bowl Bets Could Hit Nearly $1.8 Billion • This Week in Gambling

    [ad_1]

The American Gaming Association has released a new report on Super Bowl bets this year, projecting that Americans will wager a record 1.76 billion dollars legally on the big game. This forecast represents a significant 27 percent increase over the previous year and highlights the rapid expansion of the regulated sports betting industry across the United States.

According to the AGA, the growth in Super Bowl bets is driven by the maturation of legal markets in 39 states and the District of Columbia. Missouri is the most recent state to join the legal landscape, having launched its regulated market in December 2025. This addition, combined with increased activity in high-volume states like New York, has contributed to the unprecedented financial expectations for the upcoming championship game between the Seattle Seahawks and the New England Patriots.

While the primary focus remains on the record-breaking 1.76 billion dollar handle, the report also addresses the emergence of alternative platforms. A separate study conducted by the organization suggests that many consumers are confused by prediction markets, which often frame sports wagering as a form of investment rather than entertainment. Research indicates that 28 percent of those using prediction platforms describe their activity as investing, compared to just 9 percent of those using traditional sportsbooks.

The data further shows that 78 percent of participants on these alternative platforms mistakenly believe that state regulators can resolve their disputes. In reality, these platforms often operate outside the established regulatory frameworks that govern traditional sportsbooks. Association President Bill Miller stated that these findings reinforce the necessity of state and tribal regulation, which provides consumer protections that other markets currently lack.

Despite the rise of these alternative options, the demand for traditional Super Bowl bets shows no signs of slowing down. Other industry groups, such as the Sports Betting Alliance, have issued similar projections, estimating a total handle of 1.71 billion dollars. Analysts suggest that the return of legacy teams like the Patriots and Seahawks to the championship stage has sparked renewed interest in key betting hubs. As the game at Levi’s Stadium approaches, the industry is preparing for its busiest weekend in history, fueled by a consumer base that increasingly views wagering as a core component of the Super Bowl experience.

  • Las Vegas Raiders Closing In on Klint Kubiak As New Coach

    [ad_1]

    Posted on: February 1, 2026, 03:26h.

    Last updated on: February 1, 2026, 03:29h.

    • Kubiak is the current offensive coordinator of the Super Bowl Bowl-bound Seattle
    • Kubiak reportedly wants the Raiders head coaching job
    • Raiders finished 3-14, last in the NFL

According to ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter, the Las Vegas Raiders are close to hiring Seattle Seahawks offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak as the team’s new head coach.

“Source: After meeting Saturday with Las Vegas and Arizona, Seahawks offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak intends to try to work out a deal to become the next head coach of the Raiders,” Schefter wrote earlier today on his X account.

Seahawks Among NFL Leaders in Offence

No deal can be finalized until after the Super Bowl, but Klint Kubiak wants to coach the Raiders, and they want him to be their head coach. Now it’s only a matter of time before the two sides can formalize a deal.”

Considering Schefter’s reputation as one of the most credible insiders who covers the NFL, you can take the X post to the bank.

The Raiders, under coach Pete Carroll, finished last in the NFL, with a record of 3-14. Carroll was fired a few days after the regular season ended. The team owns the first overall pick in this spring’s NFL draft, and are expected to select Heisman Trophy winner QB Fernando Mendoza. At DraftKings, Mendoza is -8000 to go first overall, followed by Trinidad Chambliss at +3500.

Las Vegas Gambling: Super Bowl LX Betting Favourites

Seahawks’ QB Sam Darnold, after basically being run out of Minnesota by the Vikings last season, has had a turnaround season with Kubiak as offensive coordinator. Darnold was the fifth most prolific quarterback in the NFL this past regular season, with 4,048 yards in passing, in 17 games, and 25 TDs, good for ninth in the league.

The Seahawks, current betting favourites for Super Bowl LX against the New England Patriots Feb. 8, ranked among the NFL leaders in several offensive categories. In offensive yards per game, the Seahawks were eighth in the NFL, at 351.4. Seattle was eighth in offensive yards, at 5,973, eighth in yards per game for passing (228.1), and third in point per game on offence, at 28.4.

The Raiders currently have close to $88 million in cap space, with internet chatter that star defensive end Maxx Crosby might be traded. Crosby makes $30 million per season.

QB Geno Smith, brought in last season in a trade with Seattle as the supposed answer at the position, makes $26.5 million per season. Smith was a disappointment as quarterback for the Raiders, leading the NFL in interceptions with 17.

  • Bills’ Wild Coaching Search: Philip Rivers a Betting Favourite

    [ad_1]

    • Bills’ coaching search gets interesting as Philip Rivers jumps into conversation
    • FanDuel Canada offers Bills’ coaching market
    • Brian Daboll seeing most of the betting action, followed by Joe Brady

FanDuel Canada has a market out on who the next Buffalo Bills’ coach is going to be, and Philip Rivers just made it all very interesting.

After the Bills fired Sean McDermott last Monday, stories started dropping on who his replacement might be, with candidates like Brian Daboll, Joe Brady, and Jesse Minter on that list.

Daboll has had the shortest odds, soon after the McDermott news broke. Then Friday news broke, led by ESPN’s Adam Schefter, that the Hall of Fame candidate Rivers, who had come out of retirement in December to quarterback the Indianapolis Colts for three games after Daniel Jones went down with an Achilles injury, was interviewing for the Bills’ job. The Bills later confirmed on social media that they had interviewed Rivers.

Ian Rapoport in NFL Gameday today reported that the Bills are serious about Rivers as their next head coach.

Daboll Betting Favourite for Bills’ Coach

Bills’ QB Josh Allen, who’s being consulted by team management as the coaching search plays out, was said to be excited at the prospect of bringing in Rivers.

“I do think, as humbly as I can say it, that I could coach at this level,” said Rivers in December. “I know enough about the game and about the guys, and from a leadership standpoint, camaraderie, all that comes with it. But again, that’s not something that I’m sitting here pursuing.”

Rivers is 44, and played 18 seasons in the NFL, 16 of those with the Chargers. At FanDuel Canada, Daboll is at -125, then Rivers jumps right in at No. 2, at +210, followed by Klint Kubiak at +500, Brady +650, Davis Webb +750, Mike La Fleur at +850 and Anthony Lynn at +900.

Brady No. 2 in Betting Action

Bill Belichick is on there, at +1100. So is Mike Tomlin, at +2700.

A spokesperson from FanDuel Canada told Casino.org: “Opening odds and early betting action showed Canadian-born Brian Daboll as the favorite and this continues as nearly 25% of bets have been placed on him to take on the head coach role. A close second is Joe Brady with over 15% of bets.”

Daboll was also interviewed by the Las Vegas Raiders for the head coaching job there. Yahoo also reported that two other offensive-minded coaches (Daboll was the Bills’ offensive coordinator, where he was then hired by the New York Giants as head coach, then fired this past fall) are under consideration for the Raiders: Webb, a quarterbacks coach with the Denver Broncos, and Kubiak, who is offensive coordinator with the Seattle Seahawks.

  • Raiders’ Gamble Backfires: What’s Next for the Luckless Silver and Black?

    [ad_1]

    Posted on: January 3, 2026, 02:31h.

    Last updated on: January 3, 2026, 02:33h.

    • Raiders look to finish last and lock down the No. 1 draft pick
    • RB Jeanty finishing season strong
    • Rumours swirling about head coach Carroll’s future, more Brady involvement in team decisions

What’s next for the 2-14 Las Vegas Raiders, as another NFL regular season ends? Stories about a trade of Pro Bowl DE Maxx Crosby. League-wide chatter about head coach Pete Carroll being fired at the end of this season. Reports about minority owner (and Fox NFL broadcaster) Tom Brady about to take an even more active role in Raiders’ off-field decisions.

Ashton Jeanty of the Las Vegas Raiders rushes for yards during the second quarter of the game against Andru Phillips of the New York Giants at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas in December. (Image: Steve Marcus/Getty Images)

For Raiders fans, and bettors, the focus today is more on finishing last in the NFL, locking up the No. 1 selection in this spring’s draft, and the next steps in what’s clearly going to need to be a rebuild. That rebuild will start at the quarterback position. So that starts with Indiana Hoosiers’ QB Fernando Mendoza (Heisman Trophy winner and AP College Football Player of the Year), who DraftKings has as -450 to go No. 1 (then QB Dante Moore, +450 at No. 2).

Mendoza just led his team to a dominant Rose Bowl win. A question is whether the Raiders move on from QB Geno Smith, who leads the NFL in interceptions (17), and will sit out tomorrow’s Chiefs’ game with an ankle injury.

    Chatter About Trading Crosby

This morning’s ESPN Index has the Raiders at 88.5% to choose No. 1, the New York Giants at 11.5%. If the Raiders beat the Chiefs tomorrow and the Giants lose to the Cowboys then New York gets the pick. The Cowboys are -190 moneyline favourites at FanDuel, the Giants are at +160.  The Chiefs are -255 ML favourites at FanDuel, the Raiders +210.

Now, online chatter is just that. As Baltimore Ravens QB Lamar Jackson told reporters a few days ago, after he was asked about media chatter that he wanted out of Baltimore: “There’s always noise in the National Football League.” This morning’s chatter is about Crosby, the star edge rusher, who is looking at knee surgery (and reportedly was not happy about the organization’s decision to pull him from last weekend’s pivotal game against the Giants, pivotal from the perspective of needing to lose that game, to stand a better chance of grabbing that No. 1 pick?). Stories are that he is likely a trade candidate out of Las Vegas.

    Positioning for Mendoza

This from Carroll yesterday, when asked about coaching:

I love coaching. I really love being on the field. I love the strategy part of it, all the planning and all that. There’s been a lot of games, a lot of preparations. That still draws me in, the curiosity of how you can make the next right call or the right move with personnel, or the right decision. Those are still really intriguing to me. And, I’m basically pretty curious. I keep looking for something better in all ways we’re doing things, and that really generates the feeling of why I love this game.”

If the Raiders fire Carroll, and Brady indeed takes on a more direct role in team decisions, the Raiders at least know they have a building block in running back Ashton Jeanty. The rookie from Boise State was mentioned in the same sentence as Saquon Barkley when the Raiders chose him in the draft last year, and while he hasn’t dominated, he still has 1,227 total receiving and rushing yards, and 10 total touchdowns, this season.

    More Brady Involvement

NFL Network journalists Ian Rapoport and Tom Peliserro said this about Brady:

“Legendary quarterback Tom Brady and his business partner Egon Durban have wielded significant influence since becoming Raiders minority owners last year. Brady is close with former Michigan teammate and current GM John Spytek, with both serving as the sounding board for one another. While Spytek was Brady’s GM target last year, Brady’s prime target for head coach was Ben Johnson, who took the Bears job instead. Expect Brady — who has spent little time in the Raiders building as he balances his broadcasting duties on Fox and other business interests — to increase his presence as the decision closes in.”

  • What NFL Metrics and Data Should Philadelphia Eagles Fans Analyze to Improve Betting Odds – Philadelphia Sports Nation

    [ad_1]

THIS BLOG CONTAINS LINKS FROM WHICH WE MAY EARN A COMMISSION. Credit: Pixabay

Here’s a simple truth most casual bettors miss: rooting for the Eagles and betting on them are two very different games.

Passion won’t beat the spread. But precision might. Smart betting is more about cold metrics and knowing where to look.

That’s exactly where most fans fall short. They skim the headlines, follow the hype, and lock in bets based on emotion. Then wonder why the ticket didn’t cash. But seasoned bettors, especially those backing a data-rich team like the Philadelphia Eagles, know that value hides in the weeds.

Snap counts. Yards after contact. Pressure rates. All those invisible gears that turn on Sunday afternoon and make or break betting slips.

The Eagles, with their layered offense and aggressive D-line, are a stat lover’s dream. But if you’re not paying attention to the right numbers, you’re basically flipping coins.

But first, one major thing that quietly changed the game.

The Online Betting Boom and Its Impact on Fan Behavior

Online betting has ballooned into something far beyond the occasional office pool. It’s structured, data-driven, and legal in more places than ever before. For Philadelphia fans, this means easier access to platforms that offer not only traditional wagers but also live bets, player props, and advanced analytics.

    Credit: Pixabay

Quality matters here. Not all platforms are equal in terms of interface, real-time data, and prop variety. That’s why many sharp bettors choose streamlined, well-regulated services that deliver both stability and depth. Among those setting a standard, New York sportsbooks have played a huge role. Their tight regulation and competitive markets have pushed platform quality upward across state lines, including states like Utah. For those curious about how to bet on sports legally in Utah online, understanding where and how state regulations differ is key to finding compliant, trustworthy platforms.

That’s why choosing where you bet matters nearly as much as how. Without solid platforms, even great data becomes noise.

    Efficiency and Situational Stats

Yards gained and touchdowns scored look good on highlight reels. But they’re surface-level. Real edge comes from context. Is that a 100-yard game against a top-three defense or a bottom-feeder? Was the quarterback under pressure? Was the drive extended by penalties?

You want to track these less-glamorous, more predictive stats:

    • Offensive and defensive DVOA (Defense-adjusted Value Over Average): It compares teams not by raw yardage but by how efficiently they perform against average defenses or offenses.
    • Success rate on early downs: Forget 3rd-and-long. Elite teams win games by staying ahead of the chains. If the Eagles are efficient on 1st and 2nd down, it’s a sign of a strong game plan.
    • Red zone efficiency (offense and defense): A 90-yard drive that ends in a field goal instead of a touchdown means everything to your wager. Look at how Philly converts red zone trips and how often they bend without breaking.

Understanding these metrics helps reframe games not as highlight packages but as systems of repeatable patterns.

    Quarterback Pressure Metrics

Let’s talk about Jalen Hurts, not through the lens of MVP chatter, but through the numbers that truly matter. Pocket time. Pressure-to-sack ratio. Air yards per attempt. If he’s being hurried constantly and still averaging long throws, you’re looking at a volatile game script. If he’s kept clean and tossing accurate short-to-intermediate balls, expect a methodical, controlled tempo.

    Eagles fans should watch:

    • Pressure rate allowed by the O-line
    • QB scramble percentage
    • Average time to throw

These are golden when analyzing total points or player prop bets. More time usually means deeper throws. Higher pressure often means quicker check-downs or risky throws. Match this against the opposing defense’s blitz tendencies and you can start to predict game flow before kickoff.

Yards After Contact and Gap Success

Not all rushing yards are equal. A running back bulldozing for extra yards after first contact is a very different story from one sprinting through open lanes created by elite blocking. The main players may be gone, but the Eagles’ ground game remains a foundation, if you’re tracking it correctly.

    Look at:

    • Yards after contact per attempt (YAC/A)
    • Run success rate per gap (inside vs. outside runs)
    • Opposing defensive front strength

If Philly faces a team soft on outside runs and the Eagles are leaning into zone stretches, expect yardage totals to tilt up.

Special Teams and Field Position (Underrated but Not Optional)

Casual fans ignore it. Smart bettors watch it like a hawk. Field position dictates playcalling. It affects point totals, time of possession, and momentum. Teams starting at their 35 instead of their 20 across several drives will eventually cash that advantage in.

    Pay attention to:

    • Average starting field position
    • Opponent punt return average
    • Kickoff touchback percentage

If the Eagles have a return advantage and a leg that pins opponents deep, expect the field tilt to help both the spread and total plays.

Injuries, Snap Counts, and Role Players

Some bettors wait for injury reports. But it’s not enough to know who’s active.

You need to know usage trends. A wide receiver might be “healthy” but only see 40% of snaps. A tight end might be blocking more than catching.

Snap count trackers, injury trendlines, and role clarity can flip your assumptions. Just because a player is dressed doesn’t mean he’s a real factor.

The sharpest bettors don’t just look at names; they look at participation.

  • NFL Week 6: All Eyes on Lions-Chiefs Sunday Night

    [ad_1]

    Posted on: October 11, 2025, 10:01h.

    Last updated on: October 11, 2025, 10:01h.

    • Lots of betting action on Lions-Chiefs Over
    • Bills, minus Oliver and Milano, need a statement game against Falcons
    • Jackson still out of lineup for Ravens

According to Joey Feazel, Head of Football at Caesars Sportsbook, there’s robust betting action on the Chiefs versus the Lions on Sunday Night, at Arrowhead Stadium, with a lot of action on the Lions and the Over (52.5).

Detroit Lions linebacker Derrick Barnes (55) reacts with his teammates after Barnes records a safety during last week’s game against the Bengals in Cincinnati. Photo by Ian Johnson/Icon Sportswire via Getty Images.

Lamar Jackson Out of the Lineup for Ravens

“On the opposite side of things, action for the Rams/Ravens matchup has not been what we would’ve expected at the beginning of the season,” he told Casino.org. “Obviously, that has a lot to do with the injury to Lamar Jackson, but what looked like a premier matchup a month ago, doesn’t seem to be the case today.”

Side note: In the massive upset win game Thursday night, with the Giants under QB Jaxson Dart beating the heavily favoured Eagles, 34-17, a Caesars Sportsbook bettor placed USD $339,000 on the Giants +7.5 (-113) for a $300k win.

49ers Starting Mac Jones at QB Again

The Lions are 4-1, the Chiefs 2-3.

“Elsewhere, Lions-Chiefs is our most bet game of the week, with more than 75% of patrons taking the Lions with the points on the road,” said Adrian Horton, Senior Director, North American Sport Trading, ESPN BET. “Handle is closer to a 60/40 split but still in favor of Detroit, with the line moving out a point to +2.5.

“The Broncos are the flavor of the week, as Denver is our most bet side by spread tickets and handle, and Moneyline tickets, to take down the Jets in London.”

Ed Oliver, Matt Milano Questionable for Bills

On the props front, Jahmyr Gibbs is the most bet TD scorer by total bets, Bo Nix 1+ Total Passing Touchdowns (Nix and his wife announced this morning they are expecting their first child) is the most bet non-TD prop by total bets.

Over at DraftKings, Johnny Avello, the Las Vegas bookmaker, and DraftKings’ Race and Sportsbook director, some of the betting takeaways at his end so far:

Browns at Steelers: “Terrible scheduling spot for the Browns. They’re coming back from London and Steelers had the week off. Line up to 5.5 from 4.5.”

    Seahawks Undermanned at DB

Cardinals at Colts: “Cards are coming off inconceivable loss to Titans. Even though [QB Kyler] Murray is probable, the line is up to 7 from the opener of 3.5.”

Bengals at Packers: “Line was only around a field goal before the season started and is now 14. How things have changed.”

Lions at Chiefs: “Top game of the Sunday slate on prime time. They’re betting the Chiefs early with the line up to 2.5 from 1.5.”

The Bills, at 4-1, are in Atlanta to play the Falcons in one of two Monday nighters – Bears at Commanders being the other game. The Bills (-225 against the Falcons, at DraftKings, Falcons +185) are first in the AFC East, but there’s plenty of question marks surrounding a team that’s in a Super Bowl or bust moment this year. As of this morning, at ESPN, TE Dalton Kincaid, LB Matt Milano, DT T.J. Sanders and DT Ed Oliver are all listed as questionable due to injuries.

  • NFL Betting: Brutal Start for the Books Going Into Week 3

    [ad_1]

    Posted on: September 19, 2025, 08:50h.

    Last updated on: September 19, 2025, 09:05h.

    • Cowboys versus Bears most bet game going into Week 3
    • Bills handle the Dolphins, but don’t cover the spread
    • Burrow, Purdy, Daniels out with injuries

Phill Gray, the former head of trading operations at Sports Interaction for more than 20 years, and an industry consultant, has seen a few things, with the “brutal start” for the sportsbooks in NFL betting heading into Week 3 right up there.

Lamar Jackson of the Baltimore Ravens looks to pass against the Cleveland Browns at M&T Bank Stadium last weekend. The Ravens take on the Detroit Lions Monday night. Image by Michael Owens/Getty Images.

    Favourites Dominating

With favourites straight up 25-8 so far, parlays and teasers are the talk of the day, he says.

“Totals and props may do okay with the under coming in at about 50%, but the rate of favourite outright wins leaves huge negative in total GGR,” he says.

Last night’s Buffalo Bills win over the Miami Dolphins – 31-21 – was right on script, although the Bills didn’t cover (-12.5 at kickoff).

    Burrow Surgery Today

“If there’s not a few upsets to negate that it certainly could be another big win for the public,” Gray says. “Parlays right now are sitting about -8% on sides, normally that should be about 15%. It’s a very tough start to the season for the house. Straight bets at 54.5% right now for favs is close to the norm and there is some hold there, but again moneyline and teaser combos are just smashing it for the regular bettor with that 76% rate of fav outright wins.”

Today’s news NFL headlines impacting betting are led by the news that Bengals’ quarterback Joe Burrow underwent surgery today on his toe, the surgery went well, and there’s no timeline on his return. Burrow of course was an MVP betting favourite going into the season, up there with the Bills’ QB Josh Allen and Ravens’ QB Lamar Jackson.

    Purdy Injury Update

San Francisco 49ers’ QB Brock Purdy, dealing with shoulder and toe issues, is “highly unlikely” to start Sunday against the Cardinals. And Commanders QB Jayden Daniels will miss Sunday’s game against the Raiders with a knee injury.

According to Adrian Horton, Senior Director, North American Sports Trading, ESPN BET, Cowboys versus Bears is the most bet game on the schedule for Sunday.

“Action has flipped the line from Bears –1.5 to Cowboys –1.5 on the road as of Friday, with two thirds of tickets and over 75% of handle coming in on Dallas,” he said.

    Lions-Ravens Total Up To 52.5

“Packers-Browns is also one of our most bets games of the weekend, though in even more lopsided fashion as nearly 90% of bets and handle have come in on Green Bay at –7.5. In a playoff rematch, the Eagles are getting nearly 60% of spread tickets and handle to keep the line at –3.5 when they host the Rams on Sunday.”

The Lions – Ravens total (now 54.5) is also up another point from midweek, and up two since opening at 52.5. The Vikings are back in to –2.5 at home against the Colts. Minnesota opened –3.5, were down to –2.5 on Tuesday, and back to –3.5 on Wednesday. The total in Steelers-Pats is up a point from open and is now 44.5.

    Chiefs Look for First Win

Over at BetMGM, most bet games (tickets) are the Packers versus Browns, Cowboys versus Bears, Rams versus Eagles, Chiefs versus Giants and Lions versus Ravens.

“Popular action in Week 3 is on the Chiefs seeking their first win, the Cowboys their second, and Colts & Packers for their third. Each of these teams covering would be great outcomes for bettors, and the book is hoping for an upset or at least an underdog to cover,” said Christian Cipollini, Trading Manager, BetMGM.

    Bettors Eyeing Kamara

Most bet player props (tickets) at BetMGM are Tyler Warren (Colts) Over 47.5 Receiving yards -110, Wan’Dale Robinson (Giants) Over 42.5 Receiving yards -120, Alvin Kamara (Saints) Over 22.5 Receiving yards -120, Kyle Pitts (Falcons) Over 37.5 Receiving yards -135, and Bijan Robinson (Falcons) Over 81.5 Rushing yards -115.

  • Sportsbooks Expect Record NFL Betting • This Week in Gambling

    [ad_1]

Sportsbooks are preparing for a record NFL betting season, with projections indicating that U.S. bettors will wager approximately $30 billion on the league this year. This marks an 8.5% increase from the previous season’s estimated $27.6 billion, according to the American Gaming Association (AGA). The surge in betting activity is attributed to the growing acceptance and legalization of sports betting across the United States, with 38 states and the District of Columbia now offering regulated sports betting options.

DraftKings and BetMGM are among the operators experiencing significant growth. DraftKings CEO Jason Robins reported that betting activity has been surging ahead of the NFL season opener, with numbers continuing to rise into the weekend. Similarly, BetMGM CEO Adam Greenblatt noted that the sportsbook’s preseason volume was up 30%, with no reduction in average bet size or active sessions per week. Both companies have posted stronger-than-expected financial results this year, with DraftKings beating Wall Street forecasts in its second quarter and BetMGM raising earnings guidance twice. Executives attribute this growth to falling customer acquisition costs as more states legalize sports wagering.

The AGA’s estimate includes money wagered on futures, individual games from the preseason through the Super Bowl, and other betting activities at traditional sportsbooks in the U.S. The record NFL betting increase is also expected to benefit other sports betting companies, including FanDuel, Caesars Entertainment, and new entrants like Fanatics and ESPN Bet. The NFL’s regular season, which begins after Labor Day in September, provides sportsbooks with the biggest opportunity of the year.

The growing popularity of sports betting is driven by technological advancements, such as mobile betting apps and real-time wagering opportunities. Additionally, the increased use of artificial intelligence and data analytics has enhanced the accuracy of odds and personalized betting experiences, further attracting new clients and retaining existing ones.

As the NFL season progresses, sportsbooks are expected to continue experiencing high volumes of betting activity, with major events like the Super Bowl driving significant betting action. The record NFL betting figures highlight the expanding role of sports betting in American football culture and its impact on the sports industry.

  • A Look Ahead to Top Betting Lines for Eagles This Season – Philadelphia Sports Nation

    [ad_1]

After a strong season last year, the Philadelphia Eagles remain among the top contenders in 2025.

As the new season is before us, sportsbooks are already showing the first odds that would let fans place their bets.

While you’re analyzing and placing bets, fans can also have more fun playing casino games with a sports theme. You can even find NFL-themed games among the best-paying pokies that are available at https://onlinepokiesmates.com/best-paying-pokies/, which are a popular way of spinning the reels if you’re a football fan.

Some of these games feature the Super Bowl theme because it’s the biggest sports event in the US.

If you’re considering betting on the Philadelphia Eagles, here are the odds that are currently available.

Keep in mind that the odds are subject to change, the same way past Super Bowl point spreads changed over time, especially when the competition progresses and teams’ performances become obvious.

    First Games in September

    PHOTO: Casey Murphy/Unsplash

The first week of the league is placing the Eagles as favorites in both of their matches. The first one is against the Dallas Cowboys, and the second one is against the Kansas City Chiefs. The spread odds are -120 and -122, respectively. For the moneyline, the Eagles are stronger favorites with odds being -310 and -110 for the first and the second game.

Overs and unders are a bit different. The odds against the Dallas Cowboys for under 46.5 are -115, whereas the game with the Kansas City Chiefs offers -105 for over 46.5.

This is the first sign that the whole team is still perceived as being strong and ready to go far in the competition. This is somewhat normal due to the success of the team last time.

    Super Bowl Odds

This year, the Eagles are considered the favorites. Here’s how the odds compare to the past Super Bowl scores and spreads.

Eagles currently share +750 odds to win the Super Bowl, placing them among the top 4 contenders alongside the Chiefs and 49ers. There are a couple of other teams with the same odds, but the majority of the others have lower odds of winning.

    Playoffs Odds

When it comes to the playoffs, the odds are again saying that the Philadelphia Eagles will reach them. Odds of them making it to the playoffs are -350. On the contrary, the odds of them not reaching the playoffs are +265. That’s not so surprising, given how well the team played last season.

    Win Totals Odds

Win Toals is the type of bet that you place on how many games the team will win over the regular season. Players can bet on to win 6, 8, or 10. If you want to bet on six, that’s impossible because there are no odds for this number of games. However, to win 8, the odds are -800, and to win 10, the odds are -250.

These odds imply that the team will most likely achieve more than 10 wins in the regular season.

    Futures Specials

In the futures section, there’s just one unique bet that includes the Eagles, but it’s not exclusive to them. The bet means that the Eagles, Ravens, and Chiefs need to make it to the playoffs.

Eagles, Chiefs, and Ravens each have a chance to make it to the playoffs. As these teams are likely to achieve that, the odds are -110.

    Division Winners

Placing a bet on the NFC East Winners and the NFC Championship winner this early relies on a lot of luck. Still, that is reflected in somewhat appealing odds. The Eagles are considered favorites to win the NFC East with odds of -130.  They are also the favorites to win the NFC Championship, with the odds being +370.

    PHOTO: Caleb Woods/Unsplash

    Awards

These are not the best for the whole team, but for the individuals on the team. The highlights include Saquon Barkley, who you can bet on as the AP NFL Offensive Player of the Year with the odds of +600. He is the favorite with these odds that place him at the top.

Lane Johnson is considered among the best protectors in the league, which is reflected in the odds of +650, which are putting him as a favorite NFL protector of the year 2025/2026.

Even though not a favorite, Vic Fangio is the fourth candidate to be the AP NFL Assistant Coach of the Year, with the odds of +1000. So, plenty of nominations from the Eagles team.

    Team Specials

This is where things get fun, as there are team specials odds that also show the strength of the Philadelphia Eagles. Here’s a list featuring the top specials:

    • Eagles to score at least one touchdown in every regular season game, with the odds of -160.
    • Eagles to beat the Dallas Cowboys at home and away in the regular season, with the odds of -125.
    • Eagles to beat the Washington Commanders at home and away in the regular season, with the odds of +110.
    • Saquon Barkley is expected to get 500+ regular-season receiving yards, with the odds of +160.
    • Saquon Barkley & Jalen Hurts to combine 2500+ rushing yards in the regular season,  with the odds of +250.
    • Jalen Carter is expected to achieve 10+ sacks in the regular season, with the odds of +300.

    First Odds Are Promising

According to the first and betting lines that have appeared, the Philadelphia Eagles are still considered a team that could repeat the success they had last year.

While being different from the past Super Bowl spreads, they still show who is considered to be the favorite.

Of course, we’ll see whether that’s true once the season starts in September.

  • Sports Betting Hall of Famer Avello on NFL Betting Strategy

    [ad_1]

    Posted on: August 27, 2025, 02:18h.

    Last updated on: August 27, 2025, 02:18h.

    • NFL season kicks off Sept. 4 with Cowboys versus Eagles
    • Bills and Ravens Super Bowl betting favourites
    • Sports Betting Hall of Famer Johnny Avello weighs in on what to focus on

Last year around this time the American Gaming Association announced its NFL betting estimates for the upcoming season – USD $35 billion with legal sportsbooks throughout the season. Soon we’ll see the estimates for this upcoming season.

Bank of America Stadium, home of the Carolina Panthers. Image/Shutterstock

    Betting Strategy

Americans were expected to bet USD $1.4 billion legally on Super Bowl LIX between the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles. Oddsmakers have been planning for the 2025 season the moment the Eagles carried the Vince Lombardi Trophy off the field last February.

Casino.org interviewed popular Las Vegas Strip bookmaker Johnny Avello, the Sports Betting Hall of Famer, and Director of Race & Sportsbook Operations at DraftKings, about what bettors should be looking out for this upcoming season.

Yesterday was interesting, since it was roster cutdown day, when teams were required to get their rosters down to 53 players. Nearly 1,200 players were out of jobs by the end of the day.

    Season Gets Going Sept. 4

Some notable names were cut – QB Tommy DeVito with the New York Giants, WR Hunter Renfrow in Carolina, QB Kyle Trask in Tampa, WR Simi Fehoko in Arizona, CB Mike Hilton in Miami, WR Xavier Restrepo in Tennessee (Cameron Ward’s favorite target at Miami), veteran punter Cameron Johnston in Pittsburgh.

Nothing happened that will impact any betting lines, though, Avello told Casino.org.

Daniel Jones getting the QB job over Anthony Richardson in Indianapolis is the type of move that will move a line, but maybe half a point, Avello added. NFL betting lines are set down months in advance.

Adjusting Betting Lines After Week 1 and 2

“So our approach is, how strong is the team? Do they have a power rating, going in to start the season?” he said. “Home field, that advantage is worth X, depending on how they performed at home last year, and maybe some of the past years.

We make some real big adjustments after the first week, second week, then those numbers stay solid. There will still be some adjustments here and there, but there could be some drastic changes after Week 1, after we see some of these teams play. Preseason changed a little bit (three games now). There used to be a longer preseason, some of the veteran guys would be in there after Week 1. Now, some of these guys don’t play at all. When they do play, it’s very minimal.

Allegiant Stadium, home of the Las Vegas Raiders. Image/Mark Keast

    Eyes on Daniels, Burrow

“So our approach has changed a little bit. We’ve seen some of the teams going into season be a little bit rusty on offence, but the defences seem to be up to par. That’s something we noticed over the last couple of years. So that’s kind of our approach going in. We’ll feel pretty confident about what our opening power ratings are, going in. We’ll just make some adjustments quickly.”

As Avello told us, looking at yesterday’s cuts, those are players that aren’t going to degrade teams, so who are they as oddsmakers to say otherwise and adjust lines accordingly?

Yesterday’s moves aren’t going to move the betting needle, he added.

Roster Cuts Have Little Impact on Lines

“The Titans cut [Xavier] Restrepo,” he said. “He was one of their top receivers. He was a top receiver for Cam Ward. I guess Cam Ward’s going to be looking somewhere else this year, but that team’s not highly rated anyway.”

Where does Avello expect to see the greatest betting action this upcoming season?

No surprise – Bills (Super Bowl odds +600), Eagles (+700), Ravens (+600), Chiefs (+850), are on that list. Then there are second-tier teams, like the Broncos (+2200), Patriots (+6000), Bears (+4500), Bengals (+2200) and Chargers (+2500), that Avello has his eyes on.

There are some player performances and team trends from last season that impacted this season’s lines.

    Will Barkley Dominate?

“Jalen Daniels, the Offensive Rookie of the Year, we didn’t see that year coming from him,” Avello said. “Obviously there are high expectations for [the Commanders]. We’ll see if there are more adjustments to make [with Washington]. Joe Burrow, being the Comeback Player of the Year, he was tremendous last year, he could have been MVP. That’s a guy we expect money to come in on props, also money to come on the team [Bengals] on a weekly basis.

“We continue to watch [Saquon] Barkley [Eagles RB]. He was bet first touchdown scorer every single game [last season],” he said. “Watch the 49ers – without Deebo Samuel [traded to the Commanders in March] and Christian McCaffrey, when they were hurt last year, they were very average.”

The Bills were 8-0 at home last year, always good at Highmark Stadium. The Browns ended last season losing six in a row, so we will keep an eye on them, see if bettors continue to bet against them.

    Watching Wilson Closely

“The Lions are going to take a lot of handle this year, each and every game they play,” he added.

Avello also pointed out how the average yards per game passing was way down overall around the league. Teams, including quarterbacks,  are running the ball more. That’s something they are keeping an eye on, because it may be changing the way oddsmakers view props and the way they look at the game overall.

Avello said he will also be watching Russell Wilson closely as QB of the Giants, with rookie Jaxson Dart nipping at his heals, how No. 1 overall draft Ward does with the Titans, and Ashton Jeanty, the rookie RB with the Raiders, that a lot of people are talking about.

Bettors also need to remember this year’s rule change, where the touchback goes to the 35-yard line, giving a team better offensive position, which may change the totals a little bit, Avello said. Both teams get a possession in overtime now, which can make a difference in the line and the totals, as well.

  • Best NFL Betting Promos for the 2025 Season • This Week in Gambling

    [ad_1]

The 2025 NFL season officially kicks off in just a few weeks, so we’re checking out the best NFL betting promos! Plus, there are plenty of football watch parties all across Las Vegas! More on those in just a moment. But up first, sports betting is legal in 39 states, and if it’s legal where you live… and football is your game… then hopefully one of the sports betting offers discussed in this video will be to your liking! Just remember that offers and their availability changes from state to state.

We begin with the simple Bonus Bet offers we find at Bet 365, Hard Rock Bet, FanDuel, and BET MGM. These offers are almost identical with each requiring a deposit and a minimum bet of $5 except at BET MGM, which requires a minimum $10 wager. So hopefully that’s not a deal breaker. But our favorite bonus bet offer is at Caesar’s Sportsbook, where a player’s first bet of just $1 or more will instantly get them up to $250 in bonus bets, win or lose.

But hey, when it comes to the best NFL betting promos maybe you don’t care about a few hundred bucks and want to bet a little bit bigger… maybe what you’re looking for is a first bet protection offer or a second chance bet… like the one offered at Bet Rivers. New players who make their first wager and lose will be refunded their bet amount up to $500 in bonus bets. Our friends at Bet 365 have a similar offer for players who lose their first bet, reimbursing them up to $1,000 in bonus bets. But when it comes to first bet protection offers, our pick is Bet MGM. Players will get their money back in bonus bets if their first wager loses up to $1,500… with no minimum odds.

But hey, maybe just maybe you still want a little something extra? Maybe some entertainment options would sweeten the deal? Maybe you’re looking for offers with free gifts? Like the ones at ESPN Bet, where new players get $100 in bonus bets after their first $10 wager and they’ll get ESPN plus free for 30 days. Or, our pick for a free gift offer goes to DraftKings, where players who make a bet of at least $5, we’ll get $200 in bonus bets, plus $200 off NFL Sunday ticket.

But maybe just maybe all of that still isn’t enough for you, so check out these offers for No Sweat Bets and Profit Boosters, starting with the Fanatics Sports Book and their $1,000 No Sweat Bets offer. Wager up to $100 a day during your first 10 days on the app and your first bet of each day is a No Sweat Bet. So if you lose Fanatics will just refund your wager up to $100 in Fan Cash… every day for 10 days! That’s up to $1,000 back!

One of the more unusual best NFL betting promos comes in the form of a Profit Boost offer from Caesar’s Sportsbook, where you risk just $1 on your first bet and grab 10 profit boosts to use over your next 10 bets! Each Profit Boost will double your winnings up to $25, meaning you could earn an extra $250! And if you still want more, the Circa Survivor contest is back for 2025 and over 4,000 players have already signed up. Right now the prize pool is more than $15 million, but that could top 20 million if people continue to register. If interested, you have until September 6th to join in person at one of their locations in Nevada.

And finally this week, for those of you waiting for the Las Vegas watch parties, we got you covered. There are a lot of them, although the first party is not actually a watch party at all. Before the season even gets started, the Strat is hosting a meet and greet with NFL Hall of Fame player Tim Brown on August 23rd. Then opening night for the NFL is Thursday, September 4th with a watch party at Planet Hollywood and the Fantasy Football Players Championship viewing party at the Paris.

Then you can keep the parties going at Circa Las Vegas with their ultimate kickoff weekend. Visit the world’s largest sportsbook or their rooftop swim.Stadium Swim on September 4th and or fifth.
Then again on September 7th and eighth. Plus, catch the Raiders’ first home game on September 15th with the Caesars weekend kickoff party at Harris’s. Other NFL related events and watch parties continue all throughout September and even into October at several Las Vegas locations, including Topgolf at MGM Grand. And if none of these parties work with your schedule, Westgate’s Football Central has you covered  with free Sunday viewing parties all season long.

So that’s our look at the best NFL betting promos and Las Vegas watch parties for the upcoming season. Feel free to add other NFL related events in and around Las Vegas to our comment section. And if you like what we’re doing here, be sure to subscribe and get notified whenever we publish a new video.

  • Circa Survivor NFL Contest Down to 150 • This Week in Gambling

    [ad_1]

After several weeks with little eliminations in Circa Survivor, an upset over Kansas City knocked out over 20% of the remaining field leaving the contest down to 151 entries. The contest had 191 remaining entries going into Week 9. With several large favorites on the board, the picks were spread out among nine teams.

The most-picked team was Cincinnati to beat Las Vegas, and that hit without a sweat. However, the second-most picked team was New Orleans against Carolina. New Orleans was a 7-point favorite going into the week. During the game, they had more yardage, less turnovers and more time of possession than Carolina.

New Orleans had the lead at halftime and retook the lead in the fourth quarter. However, Carolina was able to score a touchdown with 2:18 remaining to take a 23-22 lead. New Orleans head coach Dennis Allen’s job and 40 entries in the Circa Survivor contest were eliminated.

After Week 9 in 2023, there were 1,153 entries remaining. In 2022, that number was just 115. In 2021, there was 1,188 remaining, however, over 1,000 would be eliminated in Weeks 10 and 11 that year. Now in 2024, with 151 entries remaining and a total prize pool of $14,266,000, the implied value for each entry left is $94,476.

In the overall standings, Circa Million VI is being led by two entries. Mantle Crusher and Path2Victory both hold 33-12 records for 33 points each. There are five teams behind them at 32-12-1 for 32.5 points. First place overall in Circa Million VI will win $1,000,000. Meanwhile, looks like reign is 9-35-1 in Circa Million, putting that entry in last place.

The full-season “booby prize” in Circa Million VI will take home $100,000.

  • Betting On The Eagles: How The Weather Impacts Live Odds – Philadelphia Sports Nation

    [ad_1]

Philadelphia Eagles fans and bettors know that the team’s performance can be as unpredictable as the weather.
When betting on NFL games, particularly live odds, there’s a lot more to consider than just the stats.

Weather conditions play a significant role in shaping live betting odds, affecting player performance, game outcomes, and, ultimately, how bettors approach each play.

Let’s explore how factors like wind, rain, snow, and temperature shifts can sway the odds when placing bets on the Eagles.

    How Weather Impacts Player Performance

Weather conditions can dramatically impact player performance, which is critical for live betting strategies. For instance, quarterbacks and wide receivers can struggle to complete passes in high winds, affecting yardage totals and touchdown probabilities. Wind speeds over 15 mph make passing plays riskier, pushing teams to favor running plays over passing. For the Eagles, a run-heavy approach could lead to a lower-scoring game, impacting over/under bets.Rain introduces a new set of challenges, primarily for ball handling. Rain-slicked footballs are harder to throw, catch, and even kick, often leading to turnovers or missed field goals. Bettors need to monitor pregame and real-time weather updates to anticipate how rain might force a change in the Eagles’ strategy, which could shift live odds as plays unfold.

Key Weather Elements and Their Effect on Live Odds

Live betting requires quick thinking and adaptability, especially when weather elements start influencing the flow of the game.

Here’s how specific weather factors affect live football odds and betting opportunities:

    Wind

Wind affects both passing accuracy and kicking distance, two critical components of a successful NFL game. When betting live, it’s important to track real-time wind speeds. For instance, when winds reach 20 mph or more, kickers may struggle with accuracy, especially on longer field goals, making unders more attractive for points-based bets.If the Eagles face strong winds, look for more ground-based plays, which slow the game and potentially keep scores lower.

    Rain

Rain often transforms games into strategic battles where the advantage leans towards teams with strong defensive and running strategies. As a result, rain-soaked games are usually slower-paced and lower-scoring, which can heavily influence live point spreads and totals. With a rain forecast, bettors might find that the Eagles pivot to rushing plays more frequently, especially if passing conditions are poor. Adjusting bets to favor lower scores or betting on fewer passing yards can align with this shift.

    Snow and Cold Temperatures

Snow and extreme cold can freeze up even the best offenses. While Philadelphia may not be new to these conditions, extreme cold and snowfall often lead to fewer passes and more conservative plays. The slick field makes it harder for receivers to run precise routes, which can reduce scoring. For live bettors, snowy conditions might push bets towards the under, as defenses tend to have the upper hand in low-visibility, low-traction games.Cold weather also affects fatigue and stamina, especially for players not accustomed to frigid temperatures. When the Eagles play in freezing conditions, expect fatigue to play a role in the second half, potentially affecting both point totals and the likelihood of late-game heroics. Knowing this trend can help bettors anticipate scoring drops as the game progresses.

How Real-Time Weather Updates Shift Betting Strategies

    PHOTO: 3D Animation Production Company/Pixabay

Live odds change rapidly, and weather updates play a substantial role in these shifts. With mobile betting apps providing constant access to game and weather data, bettors can make quick adjustments based on the latest conditions. For example, if wind gusts suddenly increase mid-game, bettors can anticipate fewer field goal attempts and adjust their wagers accordingly. The same goes for sudden rain or snow showers, which might prompt teams to rely on short, safer plays.

Philadelphia’s weather can change quickly, especially during the fall and winter months, and live bettors must stay vigilant. A strategic bettor will monitor both team tendencies and real-time weather shifts, understanding how these changes can affect a game’s pace, score, and play style. Adapting to these weather-induced changes quickly gives bettors a distinct advantage in leveraging the Eagles’ weather-driven live odds.

    Conclusion

Betting on the Eagles involves more than analyzing matchups and stats; weather plays an undeniable role in shaping live odds. Each weather element—wind, rain, snow, or cold—presents unique challenges that influence player performance, team strategy, and, ultimately, the odds.Successful live betting relies on quick responses to these real-time conditions and an understanding of how the Eagles adapt to various weather challenges.

By factoring in both live updates and historical performance data, bettors can make informed decisions that improve their chances of accurately predicting game outcomes, even when the weather takes a turn.

Betting on NFL Games May Hit $35 Billion • This Week in Gambling

    [ad_1]

The opening week of the American football season is in the books, and betting on NFL games is off to a good start as well. This year, our friends at the American Gaming Association forecast that American sports bettors will place about $35 billion in wagers with legal sportsbooks.

“With the excitement of another NFL season upon us, Americans are placing their bets with the confidence that the legal sports betting market is prioritizing consumer protection and responsibility” said AGA President and CEO, Bill Miller.

The expansion and growth of the legal betting on NFL games across the country is expected to make the 2024 season the most heavily wagered for American football in the seven years of legal betting. According to AGA analysis, legal wagers on the 2023 NFL season totaled $26.7 billion.

Since the last NFL season’s kickoff, Maine, North Carolina, and Vermont have all launched new legal sports betting markets. Additionally, more Americans than ever have participated in gaming-related entertainment over the past twelve months. That exposure and increasing familiarity with the gaming industry is driving widespread confidence in responsible gaming.

Almost all sports bettors from the past year, including those betting on NFL games, are familiar with at least one responsible gaming resource. This consumer awareness of responsible gaming resources is due in large part to industry marketing and advertising. Over 70% of American adults believe that such marketing is being conducted responsibly, an marked increase from last year.

It’s Time for NFL Betting! • This Week in Gambling

    [ad_1]

The 2024 NFL betting season is ready to kick off! And players living in legal jurisdictions have many special offers and promotions to choose from, depending on what they value most! Plus, the Tropicana Las Vegas has officially set an implosion date!

Hello friends, I hope everyone had a great Labor Day weekend, but the question on everyone’s mind is: Are you ready for some football? Well, what about some NFL betting? We’ve got promotion and special offer information from DraftKings to FanDuel to Caesars and beyond! But first, if you haven’t heard the Tropicana has finally and officially set an implosion date: October 9th at 2:30 in the morning. Of course the implosion party… yes, there’s going to be a party… will begin the night before on the evening of October 8th. Yes, ahead of all the implosion fireworks there will be… well, actual firework. And a ceremony and a drone show before they blow up what’s left of the Tropicana. And while 2:30 in the morning is a little late, even by Vegas standards, look at it this way: It should be a little easier to get a cab afterwards.

But before any of that happens, the NFL season will kick off this week with special offers for those players lucky enough to live in a state where it’s legal to bet… and we begin with two of the biggest names in American sports betting. First, FanDuel is offering new players $200 in bonus bet and a 3-week free trial of NFL Sunday Ticket. Plus, their “Hunches” campaign where players bet based on intuition. Meanwhile, DraftKings is offering new players $250 in bonus bets, along with a one-month free trial of NFL+.

Of course, several other popular US sports books are offering even bigger bonuses for NFL betting, some of them up to $1,500! So let’s talk about Fanatics, they have up to $1,000 in bonus bets
during the first week of the NFL season, with more ways to earn their FanCash rewards. Additionally, Caesars is offering their $1,000 “Rebet” promotion. So if you lose your first bet, they will give you your wager amount back in a bonus worth up to $1,000. Not to be outdone, ESPN bet is running almost the same offer on on their site… they will give you back up to $1,000. And BetMGM is giving back up to $1500 bucks in bonus bets to players who lose their first wager. Terms and conditions apply for all these offers.

Rounding out our list of NFL betting promotional offers for the NFL kickoff we come to Circa Sports, who have two contests running for the entire football season! First it’s the Circa Millions, where players make weekly picks against the spread with $6 million in guaranteed prizes… and the Circa Survivor, a winner take all contest where players try to choose a different winning team each week,
with the last player left winning $10 million! Registration for these contests ends on September 7th, and you must register at a Circa location in Nevada. Now, for you players out there who love you some prop bets, our friends at Casino City have published a list of some of the best, including advice and odds on win totals, division titles, who makes the playoffs, league MVP, the Super Bowl and more!

And finally this week, our friends at BetMGM are helping to kick off the NFL betting season with a special live dealer blackjack tournament, complete with former NFL stars… and you’re invited to attend, provided you live in a certain location. Kickoff with the Stars will take place Thursday September 5th at BetMGM Casino in New Jersey. And if you’re a little upset because you don’t live in New Jersey, and therefore can’t participate, remember this: You don’t live in New Jersey! And that’s a win all by itself! New York Jets legends Wayne Chrebet and Tony Richardson will participate in the live event and engage with fans online. No word on if they’re actually going to play blackjack, but if they do, I think we all know the outcome:  Dealers 21, Jets 17!
