What’s the true public sign of celebrity friendship? Dressing up like each other, of course.
Camila Morrone just showed up to the 2024 Emmys red carpet in a dress reminiscent of the one her famous friend, Jennifer Lawrence, wore to the 2011 Academy Awards. Morrone, who is nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie for her role in Daisy Jones and the Six, wore a sleek, minimalist Versace gown for her first Emmy nomination.
With no necklace and an over-the-top ’90s blowout, the 26-year-old actress is practically twinning with 2011 J.Law. The No Hard Feelings actress famously wore a red Calvin Klein dress to her first Academy Award nomination. Just take a look—the resemblance is uncanny. If there’s one thing Hollywood starlets are going to do, it’s wear red on their debut-nomination red carpet!
In 2015, Morgan Zanotti, alongside her co-founder Mark Sisson, embarked on a journey to revolutionize grocery store aisles with a range of high-quality, delicious condiments, sauces, and dressings—all crafted without dairy, added sugar, or canola oil. Their brainchild, Primal Kitchen, started with a single product, avocado oil mayonnaise, and has since blossomed into a brand offering over 70 SKUs, gracing the shelves of more than 16,000 retail locations.
With an idea grounded in the belief that food should be both nutritious and delicious, Zanotti created Primal Kitchen to offer consumers a wide range of products that aligned with their dietary and ethical preferences. The brand’s commitment to quality, transparency, and real-food ingredients resonated with health-conscious consumers nationwide, eventually leading to the major acquisition by Kraft Heinz for $200 million. Before Zanotti was at the helm of changing the food industry as we know it, her career path was certainly not linear.
Zanotti’s career journey began with a degree in accounting. She subsequently spent around nine months as an accountant, soon realizing that her heart lay elsewhere. Determined to find a more fulfilling career path, she worked as a waitress at a resort in Wisconsin, surfed her way through South America, and even obtained her yoga certification. Despite these soul-enriching experiences, she returned to the United States without a clear corporate career in sight. Undeterred by uncertainty, Zanotti explored various opportunities until she found her way to a branding and design agency. There, she honed her skills and developed a keen understanding of marketing and brand development. During this period, her life took a pivotal turn when she accepted the role of marketing director at KeVita, a beverage company specializing in probiotic drinks.
At KeVita, Zanotti’s path intersected with Sisson, a renowned figure in the health and wellness industry. Their shared vision for creating wholesome, clean-label food products sparked a conversation that would alter the trajectory of both their careers. Listen to the latest episode of Second Life to hear how Zanotti continues to inspire with her dedication to creating a healthier, more flavorful world, one condiment at a time.

If you’re anything like me, you tend to reach for a failsafe LBD for dressy occasions. But thanks to Emily Blunt, I’m inspired to trade in my favorite dress for a sultry backless jumpsuit. Scroll down to see her newest outfit and shop the trend for yourself.
TikTokers like to joke that millennials wore “business casual” outfits to the clubs in the early 2010s, but it’s no laughing matter: We really were out there wearing pencil skirts and corporate blouses for nights out. Another crucial element of the look? Cropped blazers, a Y2K specialty. I haven’t owned one in well over a decade, but Elizabeth Olsen’s exceptionally chic new red carpet look just convinced me to buy one.
Attending the National Board of Review Gala in New York City this week, Olsen wore a head-to-toe Thom Browne outfit. The corset was reminiscent of Olsen’s spectacular Golden Globes dress from this past weekend, but the rest of the look felt thoroughly fresh. Scroll down to see how Elizabeth Olsen styled a cropped blazer for the red carpet and shop versions for yourself.
It’s far more likely to see Taylor Swift in a miniskirt and thigh-high boots than in leggings and sneakers, so when she wears athleisure, it’s worth talking about. (Let’s face it—we all talk about everything she wears, but I digress.) While heading to another recording session in New York yesterday, Swift traded her usual dressy digs for a comfortable fleece pullover, black leggings, and a pair of rugged sneakers that the fashion crowd would approve of.
While retro and quiet luxury sneakers have been the go-to styles recently, another trend that the fashion crowd is embracing is hiking sneakers (think Salomon XT-6), which is what Swift wore. In her continued support of Beyoncé, she wore a pair of sneakers from Adidas x Ivy Park—the Ivytopia Savage Trail Sneakers. The bad news is that they’re no longer available, but the good news is that they’re on several resale sites, including StockX. And I found several similar pairs that Swift would likely approve of. Keep scrolling to shop the trend for yourself.
If I knew what was good for me (and my wallet), I’d spend more time reading books or, I don’t know, knitting, instead of scrolling on Instagram. And yet, with a job like mine, knowing what’s new on fashion’s unofficial favorite app is kind of important. Or at least, that’s how I justify my shocking amount of screen time. My scrolling habits can’t be so bad, though. After all, without them, I would have never stumbled upon J.Crew’s head of women’s designOlympia Gayot‘s post about the brand’s latest denim drop. And missing that just isn’t an option.
“New year new jeans,” Gayot captioned the post, which features eight photos of J.Crew’s first denim release of 2024. In a majority of the photos, the designer is wearing one specific pair of jeans that I’m predicting will first, break the internet, and second, sell out, hence why I’m glad I saw the post so early. The style, called the side-tab trousers, is from J.Crew’s premium Pointe Sur denim line and features silver side tabs that allow you to resize the trouser-like jeans to fit either low or high on your waist. “I love the Point Sur side-tab denim trouser,” Gayot tells me. “It is constructed with premium made-in-the-US rigid denim and workwear-style tabs that you can adjust so the jeans hit exactly where you want them.”
Not a week goes by that Olivia Rodrigo isn’t photographed wearing a trendy dress, and we love that about her. And although it’s deep winter right now, the one she just wore for a Q&A in L.A. is pure spring. In fact, it’s a trend that was all over the S/S 24 runways (of Stella McCartney, Alessandra Rich, and Balmain, to name a few). The trend we’re referring to is polka dots. And speaking of Alessandra Rich, that’s the designer of Rodrigo’s sheer black-and-white one-shoulder mini dress.
Ever since Miu Miu put polka dot pieces all over its F/W 23 runway, plenty of other brands have followed suit. As soon as spring items start hitting the retailer’s shelves I’m guessing that brands both affordable and high-end will be jumping on the polka dot bandwagon. Keep scrolling to get a head start and shop the trend for your own.
I recently watched Saltburn, and I’m still reeling about three things: First, I never expected the ending and kept thinking about it for days afterward. Second, I’m still not over *that* scene (I won’t spoil it for anyone who hasn’t seen it yet, but Saltburn viewers know exactly which one I’m talking about). Third, I was struck by how perfect the cast looked in the close-up scenes. And I don’t mean it in an airbrushed sense; I mean perfect in that their skin looked natural, flushed, and slightly sweaty at times. In a word, their skin looked real, like I was standing right next to them on a hot summer’s day.
According to the film’s hair and makeup designer, Siân Miller, that was on purpose. In an interview with New Beauty, she explained, “The makeup and hair team had to ensure the cast looked real, to contrive the uncontrived. This always takes some doing—if not more so than what’s blatantly obvious. Reality was essential in order to anchor these characters within the grandiose world of Saltburn.”
Part of creating that “reality” was ensuring the characters looked “hot, sweaty, and flushed” for their close-ups. It only makes sense, as they’re supposed to be relaxing (and plotting) at an English manor during the height of summer. Keep scrolling to see the exact $9 product Miller used to create this effect. Hint: it’s a cult classic, just like we’re predicting this movie will be.
When the style, called the Avio Trench Coat, finally dropped six months later, I immediately added it to all of my usual wish lists and trackers so that I’d be the first to know if it ever made it to sale season. The coat costs $3450 full price, so even with a discount, I might not be able to swing it. That’s why I perked up when I spotted another gray trench in a slew of TikTok videos centered around new Abercrombie & Fitch items. I’ve never been very good at waiting, and my mind is so stuck on gray trench coats that I won’t be able to do anything at 100% until I’ve quelled these urges. Yes, I ordered the Abercrombie alt, and yes, you should do the exact same thing.
Though I haven’t received mine yet, TikTok is littered with enough positive reviews to put to rest any worries that it won’t hit the spot. “It’s giving Inspector Gadget chic,” said @alychapss. “Loving this trench coat,” another user, @otherangelawalters, wrote. Follow their lead by scrolling down and shopping the viral Abercrombie trench that’s $160 and giving serious The Row vibes.
I’m not sure if you’ve noticed, but Taylor Swift doesn’t really do flashy designer items. She also doesn’t do campaigns for designer brands, unlike most celebs of her caliber. If I had to guess why, I’d say that it’s because she wants to remain relatable to her millions of fans, most of whom are not celebrities. From time to time, she does incorporate some well-chosen designer items into her wardrobe.
Last night, while heading to a recording studio in NYC, Swift carried a Saint Laurent Le 5 à 7 Supple Hobo Bag on her arm. The slouchy tote is a newer iteration of the brand’s original Le 5 à 7 shoulder bag, which became an instant sensation when it made its debut in 2021. The larger, sloucher hobo bag has also become an It bag in its own right, and is carried by celebs like Hailey Bieber and Laura Harrier. Swift opted for the bag in a rich tan shade, and this isn’t the first time she’s carried the bag—she’s been photographed with it on several occasions this fall and winter.
The bag, which she paired with a camel coat, sweater dress, and Gucci knee-high horsebit boots (for another chic dose of designer), is likely to remain a staple in her wardrobe for some time, considering that she’s been known to carry the same bags over and over. See—she’s just like us!

Celebrity stylist Molly Dickson wasn’t always going to work in fashion. In college, Dickson majored in advertising, and two weeks before her graduation, she had an “aha” moment and realized that she wanted to work in fashion. “I called my mom. I’m like, ‘I do not want to do this. I’m gonna move to New York, and I’m gonna do fashion,’” Dickson said. While it took a little convincing, she eventually persuaded her parents to let her go to Los Angeles after graduation.
After getting her start working for a small designer and showroom in Los Angeles, Dickson secretly booked a flight to New York to interview with Marie Claire for an internship. Dickson landed the internship and stayed at the publication for two years before she felt like she was ready for a change. “A task that used to take me like two hours, I could literally do it in like two minutes,” Dickson said. “I don’t like being stagnant. I love to be challenged.”
Dickson was hired by celebrity stylist Leslie Fremar and worked with Fremar for seven years. In 2018, Dickson went out on her own and now works with clients such as Sydney Sweeney, Katherine Langford, and Camila Mendes, just to name a few.
For the latest episode of Who What Wear With Hilary Kerr, Dickson shares how she went from North Dakota to New York City to work in fashion, what it was like going out on her own, and more. For excerpts from their conversation, scroll below.
Sorry to all you flats lovers who experienced pure joy in 2023 when styles of the ballet and Mary Jane variety were all anyone wanted to wear. Heels are slowly but surely making a comeback, and now that one particular ’90s style has been spotted on Florence Pugh, I have no doubt that its arrival on the 2024 charts will be a splashy one.
On the day after the Golden Globes—where Pugh wore a custom red Valentino gown and Jean Schlumberger by Tiffany & Co. jewelry—the Dune actress was spotted in West Hollywood after a shopping trip at Fred Segal. For the bit of retail therapy, Pugh wore all black, including a bomber jacket, straight-leg jeans, cat-eye sunglasses, and a chic pair of point-toe stiletto boots à la the ones that so many off-duty models and actresses wore nonstop in the ’90s. But she’s not the only one who’s been donning the growing boot trend. From Hailey Bieber to Kendall Jenner, A-listers aren’t shying away from tall, skinny-heeled boots for the year ahead.
While the winter weather keeps your flats away in storage, snag a pair of stiletto boots below to replace them (for now), and while you’re at it, check out Pugh’s shopping-day ‘fit.
As much as I wish 2024 brought with it instant access to a higher tax bracket, it didn’t, at least not for me. But I’ve never been one to let something like that (or really anything at all) stop me from dressing the part. Of course, I still thought I’d have to do my fair share of digging through products in search of pieces that look expensive but actually aren’t. Little did I know that everything necessary to aesthetically level up financially was about to arrive in H&M’s new arrivals section—no digging necessary.
From double-breasted cardigans that could easily be found on the racks of a designer boutique to timeless footwear that I know for a fact will sell out and go viral by EOW, the 25 brand-new finds below are a recipe for looking rich at an accessible price. Oh, and did I mention there’s cashmere? Before everything really does sell out, scroll down and start shopping.

In case you missed it, the 81st annual Golden Globes took place last night in Los Angeles. There were many notable beauty looks, but it should come as no surprise that Margot Robbie was among them. The actress paired her hot-pink custom Armani Privé dress with a glowing complexion and glossy hair. In my opinion, the look was complete and utter perfection—especially when you consider the underrated (and fairly unnoticed) element that took her Barbie commitment to a whole new level…I’m talking about her barely-there manicure.
Nail Artist Betina Goldstein created a nude manicure that matched Robbie’s skin tone perfectly. Usually, nail experts recommend choosing a nude nail polish that’s one shade lighter or darker than your skin tone for contrast, but Goldstein opted for an exact match..and for good reason. Goldstein posted a picture of Robbie’s nails on her Instagram page, explaining, “For Margot’s nails, I wanted them to blend in with her skin to create the illusion of Barbie doll hands.”
Celebrities brought their fashion A game to the Golden Globes red carpet last night. Even if they didn’t take home awards, stars like Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez sent fans into a tizzy with their striking outfit choices. If you think the fun ended there, you’re wrong. Several big names were spotted at the after-parties, including Margot Robbie, Jennifer Lawrence, and Elle Fanning.
Below, I’ve rounded up the best Golden Globe after-party looks you didn’t see. Robbie, for instance, changed into a black version of her hot-pink Armani Privé gown. Lawrence, meanwhile, traded her midnight-blue velvet dress for a richly hued gold gown. Without further ado, scroll down to see the best after-party outfits of the evening.
If you’ve been a bride or bridesmaid over the last several years, chances are you’re familiar with the wedding registry site Zola. Shan-Lyn Ma, the co-founder and co-CEO of Zola, founded the site with one mission in mind: to make wedding planning easy. Together with Nobu Nakaguchi, Ma built a platform that would redefine the wedding registry experience. Since its inception, Zola has helped over 2 million couples plan their dream weddings, providing them with a streamlined, modern, and user-friendly solution.
Like many successful companies, Ma and Nakaguchi recognized a problem in the wedding industry and sought to provide a solution to make a greater impact. Recently, Zola expanded its services to include baby registries, further cementing its position as a game-changer in the industry with Ma at the helm.
From a young age, Ma harbored dreams of becoming an entrepreneur. She vividly remembers adorning her childhood bedroom with a poster of her idol, Jerry Yang, co-founder of Yahoo. This early fascination with entrepreneurial legends set the stage for her future endeavors. Armed with ambition and a strong educational foundation, Ma pursued an MBA from Stanford University, and after graduating, she wasted no time in making her mark in the tech world. Her journey began at Yahoo, where she started as an intern before transitioning into product marketing, ultimately honing her skills and igniting her passion for the world of technology and the digital marketplace.
In 2008, Ma joined the e-commerce giant Gilt Groupe as its first Product Lead. She became the youngest executive on the team and quickly made her mark. During her time at Gilt, she established her own business unit, Gilt Taste, a venture that would prove pivotal in her future endeavors. It was at Gilt Groupe that Ma crossed paths with her future Zola co-founder, Nakaguchi. While Ma’s career continued to soar, she and Nakaguchi were simultaneously percolating on a groundbreaking idea: As Ma attended countless weddings, she couldn’t help but notice registry sites’ cumbersome and outdated nature. Her frustration reached a tipping point, and she confided in Nakaguchi, who shared her sentiment as he planned his own wedding.
Together, they recognized the need for disruption in the wedding planning industry. Listen to the latest episode of Second Life to hear how Ma’s past career experiences led her to shape modern wedding culture for the better.
A new year calls for fresh outfit inspiration, and one of our favorite celebrities is already leading the charge. Jennifer Lawrence was pictured polishing up her casual outfit in the most 2024 way. Predicted by the runways to be a major trend next season, Lawrence proved she’s ahead of the fashion game with her excellent styling of a black leather blazer by The Row.
A supremely chic outerwear option, a leather blazer combines the elegance of a classic blazer with the refined sheen and expensive smoothness of leather. Styling a denim and leather pairing, the actress kept her outfit looking casual yet elevated through her clever layering of textures. Completing her look with banana-milk yellow slippers (also by The Row) and black wide-leg trousers, Lawrence’s casual outfit provided a template for comfortable yet stylish winter dressing.
Once upon a time, loungewear was what we allowed ourselves to indulge in only when we knew we wouldn’t be coming into contact with any other humans that day. But this year, our comfiest pieces are set to be seen everywhere but the sofa. Recently, Alexa Chung, the model and presenter elevated her humble Adidas track pants with some clever styling tricks.
Wearing her burgundy bottoms with black kitten heels, Chung defied the boundaries of casual pants by utilizing cool, trendy styling choices. She paired her trousers with a cotton button-down and a long, black, tailored coat. Chung’s outfit-elevating tactics juxtaposed the relaxed feel of track pants for a fashion-forward take on comfort dressing, and she’s not the only one who is set to turn track pants on their head this year.
