While Kylie, 33, is in Super Bowl 2026 host city San Francisco for the weekend, she revealed she won’t be on hand to see whether the New England Patriots or the Seattle Seahawks win the big game.
“I don’t even know if I can count this year because I’m not staying for the game,” Kyle told People on Wednesday, February 4, confessing that she can’t “keep track” of how many Super Bowls she’s seen in person over the years.
She added, “This might be the first Super Bowl in quite a few years that I have not partaken in.”
While Super Bowl LII ended up giving now-retired Philadelphia Eagles star Jason Kelce his first and only Lombardi Trophy, his wife, Kylie Kelce, doesn’t have many memories from the big day. “Jason and I were due to be married the following April after Minnesota. We jokingly call it his ‘two-ring season,’” Kylie, 32, recalled on […]
When it comes to what Kylie plans to do instead of taking in the NFL game from Levi’s Stadium on Sunday, February 8, she said: rest.
“I’m going to be in bed because I don’t have any of my children here,” Kylie confessed, referring to her and Jason’s four daughters, Wyatt, 6, Ellie, 4, Bennett, 2, and Finn, 10 months, who did not make the trip to California.
Prior to this year’s Super Bowl, Kylie has been to two championships in support of Jason, 38, who played for the Philadelphia Eagles from 2011 to 2023. (Jason has won one Super Bowl in 2018.)

Kylie, 32, revealed during the Thursday, January 30, episode of her “Not Gonna Lie” podcast that she was at the NFC Championship […]
Travis, 36, meanwhile, has played in four Super Bowls — he’s won three, one of which was against Jason and the Eagles in 2023 — of his own throughout his career with the Kansas City Chiefs. (Travis’ future with the team is unknown for the 2026-2027 NFL season as rumors swirl that he might be retiring.)
“I will say, I think that between my husband and my brother-in-law, it has been back to back to back to back to back,” Kylie told the outlet. “And it is something that I feel very, very fortunate that I’ve just had the opportunity to witness.”
Despite opting out of Sunday’s match-up, Kylie has been part of the 2026 Super Bowl lead-up festivities taking place throughout the City by the Bay.

Kylie, a former college athlete herself, was a referee during the Toyota glow-in-the-dark NFL flag football exhibition on Wednesday alongside retired New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning.
“I was just watching flag football for dummies on YouTube,” Kylie joked when asked how she prepared for the coveted role.
The “Not Gonna Lie” podcast host noted that once she learned that the flag football game was in honor of shining a light on the Bay Area female youth flag stars, she was in.

“I love any opportunity to support female sports, so it’s a no-brainer,” Kylie added. “I’m very excited… These athletes have worked really, really hard to get an opportunity like this and they get to play on the exact same field that the Pro Bowl was just played on last night.”

For football fans wanting to watch the Super Bowl at home, the big game kicks off on NBC Sunday, February 8, at 6:30 p.m. ET.
“Seeing a lot of very powerful old white men outraged about what my 24 year old sister said during her acceptance speech. We can literally see your names in the Epstein files,” Finneas, 28, wrote via Threads on Wednesday, February 4.
Eilish, 24, was among the stars who made impassioned speeches about U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement at the Grammys on Sunday, February 1, as she accepted the Song of the Year prize for “Wildflower.” Finneas, the song’s cowriter and producer, joined her on stage.
After thanking the Recording Academy, Eilish said, “As grateful as I feel, I honestly don’t feel like I need to say anything but that no one is illegal on stolen land.”
The 2026 Grammys proved once again why they call themselves music’s biggest night. After an unforgettable opening performance by Bruno Mars, host Trevor Noah helped kick off the annual awards show by spotlighting all the talented stars inside the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. “The Grammys celebrates the best of all music, and when I […]
“And yeah it’s just really hard to know what to say and what to do right now and I just feel really hopeful in this room and I feel like we need to just keep fighting and speaking up and protesting. Our voices really do matter and people matter,” she added.
The singer appeared to say, “F*** ICE,” however, her words were bleeped out on the CBS broadcast of the event.
Both Eilish and Finneas wore “ICE Out” pins to the music awards ceremony, held at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.
Bad Bunny, 31, also spoke out against ICE during his acceptance speech for Best Música Urbana Album for his LP, Debí Tirar Más Fotos.

“We’re not savage, we’re not animals, we’re not aliens. We are humans and we are Americans,” Bunny, real name Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, said.
“I want to say to people, I know it’s tough not to hate in these days, and I was thinking we get contaminados — I don’t know how to say that in English,” he added, using the Spanish word for “contaminated.”
“The hate gets more powerful with more hate,” Bunny, who is Puerto Rican, continued. “The only thing that is more powerful than hate is love. So, please, we need to be different. If we fight, we have to do it with love. We don’t hate them. We love our people, we love our family and that’s the way to do it. With love. Don’t forget that, please.”
Fellow Puerto Rican singer Ricky Martin praised Bunny’s speech in an open letter published in Puerto Rican newspaper El Nuevo Día on Tuesday, February 3.
The Grammy Awards are known as “music’s biggest night,” but the Recording Academy also hands out a ton of trophies in non-musical categories — and you might be surprised to find out who’s won them. “When you defended the immigrant community, when you pointed out a system that persecutes and separates, you spoke from a place I know very well, that place where fear and hope coexist, where millions live between languages, borders, and deferred dreams,” the “Livin’ la Vida Loca” singer wrote.
Martin also lauded Bunny for winning the night’s top prize, Album of the Year, for Debí Tirar Más Fotos. The record is the first Spanish-language album to receive the award.
Martin, 54, wrote, “This achievement is for a generation to whom you taught that their identity is non-negotiable and that success is not at odds with authenticity. From the heart, from one Boricua to another, with respect and love, I thank you for reminding us that when one of ours succeeds, we all succeed.”
“I don’t know what to write, so I’ll just put the facts here. I have cancer,” Roth, 50, wrote via Instagram on Monday, February 2, alongside a hospital selfie. “It’s not localized. It’s already in my colon, lungs and abdomen.”
She continued, “This space has held great things for me, community, friendship, opportunity, creativity, fun. I’m here to humbly ask for one more thing: fight with me, for as long as we can.”
Roth, whose “Dressing Dawn” Instagram account has more than 65,000 followers at the time of publication, received a flurry of supportive messages in the comments section.
“Omg Dawn, I hate to read this,” influencer Alison Gary replied. “We’re here for you, sending love and strength and support ❤️.”
Content creator Jaimmy Koroma, for her part, added, “Sending you so much love Dawn! ❤️ Let us know if we can help in any way!”
Roth was blown away to have received so many heartfelt messages of support.
“I have no words right now to respond to the outpouring of support on my post that I shared,” Roth said in a Tuesday, February 3, video shared via her Instagram Stories. “It’s not at all what I thought I was going to post. I have a whole story of how I ended up going to the ER and then they did a CT [scan] and they found these things that [were] all unexpected.”
“They did a biopsy of my liver, they did a biopsy of part of my colon [and] they will send it to oncology and assign me a care team,” she explained. “[Then,] I will know what the next steps are, but I just want to say how grateful I am to be held by all of you.”
While awaiting the next steps in her treatment plan, Roth revealed in a subsequent Instagram Stories slide that she is also planning to order a “kicking cancer’s a** wardrobe” of cozy, printed pajamas.
Roth is a plus-size fashion influencer, known online for sharing uploads inspiring women of any size to discover their personal styles.
“Thank you! I can’t close out 2025 without expressing how grateful I am for this community,” she wrote in a December 2025 Instagram post. “It’s never been just the outfits. It’s never been just style. The connections, support, learning [and] growth, it’s EVERYTHING.”

She added at the time, “I know my sharing slowed a bit recently as I figure out the mental health and medical path, but even there the genuine care I’ve gotten here has been so meaningful. Thank you for any and all the time you’ve spent with me in 2025.”
Roth also celebrated her milestone 50th birthday that same year.
“Usually the lead-up to a birthday has me feeling pensive, and half a century feels like quite a milestone,” she said in a January 2025 social media video. “Right now, I’m embracing it because, right now, I am the most resolved version of myself. I am truer to who I am than ever before. I am more grounded, I have more compassion [and] I have a better understanding of what I need and value from others and less fear of asking for it and setting boundaries. I am deliberately choosing my time, space and comfort.”
She was last seen on the night of January 31 in Tucson, Arizona, where she resides in a $1 million Catalina Foothills home. Pima County sheriff Chris Nanos shared an update on the ongoing situation with the Daily Mail, explaining that Nancy likely left her home “against her will”.
“She did not walk away,” he told the publication. “We believe she was forced to leave that residence. It was against her will.”
Savannah’s 84-year-old mother was reported missing on Sunday
“This was, in our opinion, someone entered her home in the middle of the night and removed her. It could be more than one person, we don’t know that yet,” he continued.
“This is about an 84-year-old woman who is sick, who needs her medications, who, in the middle of the night, was taken from her bedroom. If she is alive, she needs her medication and it’s been well over 24 hours. That in itself could be fatal, and that’s scary.”
The sheriff didn’t rule out an abduction, sharing that her mobility issues would’ve prevented her from leaving of her own accord. “We know she could not walk out of that house. Talking to her doctors, we know she had some physical elements that definitely limited her,” he said.
Authorities believe she was taken “against her will”
“She is very sharp-witted, of good mind, suffers nothing in the form of any kind of dementia or Alzheimer’s – nothing. So we know she would know what was going on around here.”
Despite Nancy’s home being close to the Mexican border, authorities appear to have ruled out the location’s connection to her disappearance. “There’s nothing to indicate cartel or border issues. Nothing like that.” The lights inside Nancy’s home were on when authorities arrived at the scene, and her phone, wallet and car were still there. The door was unlocked, as per the Daily Mail, yet there were signs of forced entry.
Nancy’s neighbor spoke to The Arizona Republicand revealed the extent of the search for the grandmother, which has seen police driving through the streets asking people for access to their security cameras, looking through neighbors’ backyards, and flying a search-and-rescue helicopter over the town.
Neighbors are rallying to help by starting volunteer search parties
Another neighbour of Nancy’s, Jeff Lamie, told the publication that her disappearance was unusual for the area. “It’s a very quiet neighborhood, it’s a very safe neighborhood. This is highly unusual, and we are very concerned about her,” he said. Jeff added that there had been a “high response” to the incident, with neighbors rallying into volunteer rescue groups and combing through the surrounding area for clues as to her whereabouts.
Savannah’s Today co-hosts shared a statement on her behalf
Sheriff Nanos previously announced at a press conference on Monday that Nancy’s disappearance was being investigated as a crime, and that authorities were “very concerned” for her well-being. Savannah, who is one of Nancy’s three children, was not at the Today studio on Monday and instead shared a statement on the incident via her coworkers.
“I want to thank everyone for the thoughts, prayers, and messages of support,” she said. “Right now, our focus remains on the safe return of our dear mom. We thank law enforcement for their hard work on this case and encourage anyone, anyone with information to contact the Pima County Sheriff’s office at 520-351-4900.”
News broke on Sunday, February 1, that Savannah’s mother, Nancy Guthrie, was reported missing in Arizona. The following morning, Savannah was absent from the Today show but released a statement on behalf of her family.
“On behalf of our family, I want to thank everyone for the thoughts, prayers, and messages of support,” her statement read. “Right now, our focus remains on the safe return of our dear mom. We thank law enforcement for their hard work on this case and encourage anyone with information to contact the Pima County Sheriff’s Department.”

Nancy was last seen on Saturday, January 31, between 9:30 p.m. to 9:45 p.m local time. She is 84 years old with brown hair and blue eyes. Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos told reporters that Nancy is “not in good physical health,” noting that the family has not disclosed any issues with her cognitive health.
Today show viewers are familiar with Savannah’s story and upbringing. The news anchor lived in Australia for two years before her family relocated to Arizona. Savannah often referenced her relationship with her mom, both on the morning show and social media.
“My mom Nancy is my heart and my everything and my model for what a mother should be,” Savannah wrote in a 2020 Instagram caption.

Savannah and her family addressed Nancy’s disappearance after she was reported missing on Sunday.
“We can confirm this is a missing persons case, and the family is working closely with local law enforcement,” they shared in a statement, noting that they are grateful for “the outreach, thoughts and prayers” they have received.
Who Was Savannah Guthrie’s Dad?
Savannah’s dad, Charles Guthrie, died of a sudden heart attack when she was 16 years old.
“I think the fact that I lost my dad when I was 16, it makes Christmas even more special to us, because it was his holiday and that’s how we felt and that’s how he felt,” Savannah said in December 2022. “I think we hold on to Christmas even harder now, because it’s a tie to him and a tie to the past and to our memories.”
Savannah also explained how the loss of her father nearly made her stay close to home during the early days of her career — but Nancy wouldn’t let her.
“My father died when I was entering my senior year in high school. I then lived at home all through college. We didn’t have money to afford the dorm,” Savannah said on Today in 2022. “She said, ‘If you can’t leave me, then I didn’t do my job right, Savannah.’ She just gave me permission to go.”
Along with her incredible success as the cohost of Today, Savannah Guthrie has also had her fair share of hardships throughout the years. Guthrie — who shares daughter Vale and son Charley, named after her father, with husband Michael Feldman — has been candid about the pregnancy loss she suffered after giving birth to Vale […]

Does Savannah Guthrie Have Kids?
Savannah shares two kids with Feldman. Their daughter, Vale, was born in August 2014, followed by son Charley in December 2016.
The mother of Savannah Guthrie, co-anchor of NBC’s “TODAY” show, has been reported missing in Arizona, officials said Sunday.
Nancy Guthrie, 84, was last seen Saturday night in her home outside Tucson, according to a missing persons flyer. She was reported missing by her family around noon Sunday, Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos said.
Nanos told reporters that aspects of the scene at the home caused “grave concern.”
“This one stood out because of what was described to us at the scene and what we found and located just in looking at the scene,” Nanos said.
He did not elaborate on what evidence at the home caused such concern.
Homicide detectives were called out to process the scene, Nanos said. Their involvement is not standard protocol, and foul play cannot be ruled out, he said.
“There are some things there that are concerning to us, we just don’t want to miss anything,” Nanos told NBC affiliate KVOA in Tucson.
The Guthrie family said in a statement: “We can confirm this is a missing persons case, and the family is working closely with local law enforcement.”
Nancy Guthrie is described as 5 feet, 5 inches tall, weighing 150 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes. Her family last saw her at home around 9:30 p.m. to 9:45 p.m. Saturday, Nanos said.
“Miss Guthrie is 84 years old and is not in good physical health,” the sheriff said, but noted her family reported no cognitive issues.
Drones, an airplane, a helicopter, volunteers and search-and-rescue dogs loaned from Customs and Border Protection were all scouring the area for Guthrie, Nanos said.
Nanos encouraged anyone who has any information to call the sheriff’s department.
In their statement, the Guthrie family expressed gratitude for “the outreach, thoughts and prayers” and also asked for anyone with information to contact authorities.
Savannah Guthrie has frequently discussed her close relationship with her mother over the years.
“She loves us, her family, fiercely, and her selflessness and sacrifice for us, her steadfastness and her unmovable confidence is the reason any of us grew up to do anything,” she said in a 2022 tribute to her mother on her 80th birthday.
Snoop Dogg‘s daughter, Cori Broadus, revealed the tragic news that her baby passed away at only 10 months old.

TMZ reports the heartbroken new mom took to Instagram to announce Codi Dreaux’s death on Saturday afternoon. She posted a photo of herself smiling and holding the infant in her arms with the caption:
“Monday, I lost the love of my life” with an angel wing emoji.
The youngest of the Broadus family faced challenges early on that forced Cori to give birth three months early by emergency C-section in February 2025. The reality star was diagnosed with a rare and life-threatening variant of preeclampsia called HELLP Syndrome. The name stands for Hemolysis (the process of red blood cell destruction), Elevated Liver enzymes, and Low Platelets.
Baby Codi remained in the NICU (neonatal intensive care unit) for the next several months. Things seemed to take a turn for the better three weeks ago when Cori shared a photo of her bundle of joy, finally at home for the new year. She thanked her supporters for all the prayers, love, and positive messages because “God heard them all.”
Cori’s fiancé, Wayne Deuce, also posted a video of himself pushing the newborn’s stroller to celebrate her homecoming at almost 1 year old.
On Saturday, Wayne also posted a tribute to the baby girl.
“I been the saddest since u left me Codi Dreaux. But I know u at peace. Daddy will always love you. #LongLiveCodiDreaux” he captioned a photo of himself holding his daughter on his Instagram Story.
Now, the fans who supported Cori’s journey to motherhood are flooding in with prayers and love amid this devastating loss. Similarly, Cori’s dad, Snoop Dogg, posted a simple supportive message to his daughter on IG, using a family photo captioned, “💖🙏🏾.”
Our condolences go out to Cori, Wayne, and their families.
Nicki Minaj may have gotten the attention she desperately wanted from buddying up to Donald Trump, but a White House insider is calling cap on her gold card flexing.
After leaving her pinkprint all across Trump’s hindparts, the “No Frauds” rapper made sure to take to X to share that she’d been gifted a Gold Trump card—the “visa” allegedly worth $1 million that can be purchased by immigrants seeking legal citizenship—completely free of charge.
“Finalizing that citizenship paperwork as we speak as per MY wonderful, gracious, charming President,” she said. “Thanks to the petition. I wouldn’t have done it without you. Oh CitizenNIKA you are thee moment.”
But it may not be the flex she thinks it as a White House insider told the New York Times that Nicki did not circumvent the lengthy immigration system and receive a fast pass to citizenship. They referred to the card as a “mere memento” and went on to say that it was useless.
There also seems to be a bit of confusion on Nicki’s behalf. According to the New York Times, a Homeland Security official claims the “Super Bass” rapper has been a legal resident for the past two decades and could have already petitioned for citizenship. Chile, what is going on?
The claims of Nicki playing “chess, not checkers,” to gain legal residency here in the States seem to have been debunked completely. It’ll be interesting to see how the MAGA Barbz will excuse their queen’s behavior now that we know she didn’t need Trump’s help to become a citizen.
Perhaps she’ll go the Kanye route and tell us it was all an undiagnosed mental episode in a few years. Nicki has yet to return to Instagram since her account lost over 10 million followers after her initial support of Trump became evident. We’ll see how much it takes for her to walk all of the antics back and ask her Black supporters for forgiveness.

Home Alone was the movie that made me want to make movies. Getting to work with her was a true honorr [sic]. She was hysterical, kind, intuitive, generous… she made me want to make our show good enough to be worthy of her presence in it. This is just devastating. We’re all lucky we got to live in a world with her in it.”
Alec Baldwin

Describing O’Hara as “my hero” and “genius” Lynskey gushed about having the opportunity to work with her.
“It was incredible to watch her work and be in her presence. I’ll never forget a minute of it. When people say someone ‘lit up a room,’ this is what they mean,” Lynskey continued.

We worked together as husband and wife I think three or four times… I’ve lost count. And then again just last year as rivals on The Studio,” he wrote. “Working with Catherine was like playing tennis with Venus Williams. She never let you feel it – but you just tried to volley the ball back to her, hoping that you can come close to her level of talent. She was brilliant, and joyful.

Chris Columbus
Home Alone director Chris Columbus said he was “stunned and heartbroken” over O’Hara’s death.
“Today we lost Catherine O’Hara. I’m stunned and heartbroken, along with the rest of the world. I was an obsessive fan of Catherine’s brilliant comedic work on SCTV and was thrilled when she agreed to play Kevin’s Mom in Home Alone,” he wrote. “What most people don’t realize is that Catherine carries the weight of 50% of that film. The movie simply would not work without her extraordinary performance. Catherine grounds the picture with a profound emotional depth.”
He concluded, “I will miss her greatly. Yet there is a small sense of comfort, realizing that two of the finest human beings I’ve ever known, Catherine and John Candy, are together again, brilliantly improvising, making each other laugh.”
Eugene Levy has broken his silence over the death of his Schitt’s Creek costar and collaborator of 50 years, Catherine O’Hara.
The actor, 79, shared a statement with Us Weekly on Friday, January 30, after news of O’Hara’s death at age 71.
“Words seem inadequate to express the loss I feel today. I had the honor of knowing and working with the great Catherine O’Hara for over fifty years,” Eugene said. “From our beginnings on the Second City stage, to SCTV, to the movies we did with Chris Guest, to our six glorious years on Schitt’sCreek, I cherished our working relationship, but most of all our friendship.”
He concluded, “And I will miss her. My heart goes out to Bo, Matthew, Luke, and the entire O’Hara family.”
Catherine O’Hara and Eugene Levy met in 1972 and immediately forged a friendship that would last more than half a century. O’Hara, who died at age 71 in January 2026 following “a brief illness,” met Levy in 1972 while he was starring in Godspell. The pair later became close when she joined the Second City […]
As well as playing husband and wife on Schitt’s Creek, Eugene and O’Hara collaborated on many projects over the decades including the Christopher Guest films Waiting for Guffman (1996), Best in Show (2000), A Mighty Wind (2003), and For Your Consideration (2006).
The pair first met in 1972 and while appearing on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen in 2020, they even admitted they briefly dated for “one or two dates” in their early days working together as castmates on Second City.
Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter in 2015, O’Hara opened about their working relationship, telling the outlet, “I think a lot of it is a very fortunate circumstance, in a way, that we happen to end up teamed together.”
In the same interview, Eugene said portraying onscreen couples was easy for them due to their natural chemistry.
“We’ve known each other for such a long time that it’s just a comfortable relationship,” Eugene explained. “And when you’re doing comedy, number one, you do want to work with the best people. It’s hard when you’re not working with the best people, so the bottom line is you want really good people who are quite skilled at this particular kind of comedy.”

The actress died on Friday at her home in Los Angeles following a brief illness, her manager confirmed to Us Weekly.
A Los Angeles Fire Department spokesperson later confirmed to Us Weekly that paramedics were called to the actress’ Brentwood home at 4:48 a.m. Friday morning for a medical aid call. O’Hara was transported in “serious condition” to the hospital. An official cause of death has yet to be released.
Eugene’s son Dan, 42, and daughter Sarah, 39, who both also worked on the Emmy-winning sitcom Schitt’s Creek, were also among those to pay tribute to O’Hara following her death.
“What a gift to have gotten to dance in the warm glow of Catherine O’Hara’s brilliance for all those years,” Dan wrote via Instagram on Friday. “Having spent over fifty years collaborating with my Dad, Catherine was extended family before she ever played my family. It’s hard to imagine a world without her in it. I will cherish every funny memory I was fortunate enough to make with her.”

Victoria Beckham is celebrating 20 years of friendship with her famous pals, Tana Ramsay and Jo Manoukian. Taking to Instagram on Thursday, the fashion designer reposted a montage (originally shared by Jo) of the three of them from 2005 onwards. Clearly a tight-knit trio, Victoria recently invited Tana and Jo to join her in Paris, where she accepted the prestigious Knight of the National Order of Arts and Letters.
Victoria Beckham paid tribute to her BFFs Tana Ramsay and Jo Manoukian
A milestone moment for VB, the accolade is awarded by the French government to individuals who have made a significant contribution to the arts, literature or culture. Previous honourees have included George Clooney, Tim Burton and Kylie Minogue. Rallying around the Spice Girls star, Victoria’s husband, David, and their three children – Romeo, Cruz and Harper – were also in attendance, as well as Romeo and Cruz’s respective girlfriends, Kim Turnbull and Jackie Apostel.
The designer received the Knight of the National Order of Arts and Letters in Paris this week
Absent from the ceremony, however, were Victoria’s eldest son, Brooklyn Peltz Beckham and his wife, Nicola Peltz Beckham. Exactly one week before Victoria was honoured in Paris, the 26-year-old released a six-page Instagram statement, declaring that he had no desire to “reconcile” with his family, whom he felt had had “controlled narratives” in the press, while not supporting his relationship with Nicola.
I have been silent for years and made every effort to keep these matters private. Unfortunately, my parents and their team have continued to go to the press, leaving me with no choice but to speak for myself and tell the truth about only some of the lies that have been printed.
I do not want to reconcile with my family. I’m not being controlled, I’m standing up for myself for the first time in my life.
For my entire life, my parents have controlled narratives in the press about our family. The performative social media posts, family events and inauthentic relationships have been a fixture of the life I was born into. Recently, I have seen with my own eyes the lengths that they’ll go through to place countless lies in the media, mostly at the expense of innocent people, to preserve their own facade. But I believe the truth always comes out.
My parents have been trying endlessly to ruin my relationship since before my wedding, and it hasn’t stopped. My mum cancelled making Nicola’s dress in the eleventh hour despite how excited she was to wear her design, forcing her to urgently find a new dress. Weeks before our big day, my parents repeatedly pressured and attempted to bribe me into signing away the rights to my name, which would have affected me, my wife, and our future children. They were adamant on me signing before my wedding date because then the terms of the deal would be initiated. My holdout affected the payday, and they have never treated me the same since. During the wedding planning, my mum went so far as to call me ‘evil’ because Nicola and I chose to include my Nanny Sandra, and Nicola’s Naunni at our table, because they both didn’t have their husbands. Both of our parents had their own tables equally adjacent to ours.
The night before our wedding, members of my family told me that Nicola was ‘not blood and ‘not family.’ Since the moment I started standing up for myself with my family, I’ve received endless attacks from my parents, both privately and publicly, that were sent to the press on their orders. Even my brothers were sent to attack me on social media, before they ultimately blocked me out of nowhere this last Summer. My mum hijacked my first dance with my wife, which had been planned weeks in advance to a romantic love song. In front of our 500 wedding guests, Marc Anthony called me to the stage, where in the schedule was planned to be my romantic dance with my wife but instead my mum was waiting to dance with me instead. She danced very inappropriately on me in front of everyone. I’ve never felt more uncomfortable or humiliated in my entire life. We wanted to renew our vows so we could create new memories of our wedding day that bring us joy and happiness, not anxiety and embarrassment.
My wife has been consistently disrespected by my family, no matter how hard we’ve tried to come together as one. My mum has repeatedly invited women from my past into our lives in ways that were clearly intended to make us both uncomfortable.
Despite this, we still travelled to London for my dad’s birthday and were rejected for a week as we waited in our hotel room trying to plan quality time with him. He refused all of our attempts, unless it was at his big birthday party with a hundred guests and cameras at every corner. When he finally agreed to see me, it was under the condition that Nicola wasn’t invited. It was a slap in the face. Later, when my family travelled to LA, they refused to see me at all.
My family values public promotion and endorsements above all else. Brand Beckham comes first. Family “love” is decided by how much you post on social media, or how quickly you drop everything to show up and pose for a family photo opp, even if it’s at the expense of our professional obligations. We’ve gone out of our way for years to show up and support at every fashion show, every party, and every press activity to show ‘our perfect family’. But the one time my wife asked for my mum’s support to save displaced dogs during the LA fires, my mum refused.
The narrative that my wife controls me is completely backwards. I have been controlled by my parents for most of my life. I grew up with overwhelming anxiety. For the first time in my life, since stepping away from my family, that anxiety has disappeared. I wake up every morning grateful for the life I chose, and have found peace and relief.
My wife and I do not want a life shaped by image, press, or manipulation. All we want peace, privacy and happiness for us and our future family.
While the ‘Beckham family feud’ has dominated headlines in the days since, Victoria and her close circle of family and friends have closed ranks, remaining radio silent on the matter. Like her long-time pal VB, Tana – the wife of celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay – has experienced the challenges of a family feud firsthand.
The Ramsay and Peaty family feud
Back in December, Tana’s daughter Holly Ramsay tied the knot with Olympic swimmer Adam Peaty. In the run up to their nuptials, however, it was reported that the wedding had sparked a fallout between the Ramsay and Peaty families, with Adam’s parents, Caroline and Mark, and other family members allegedly uninvited from the couple’s big day.

The reports emerged after Adam’s aunt, Louise Williams, noted that Holly had upset her future mother-in-law by failing to include her in her hen party celebrations at Soho Farmhouse in November. Taking to Instagram (in a now private post), Louise wrote: “@hollyramsayy I’m so glad that you had a great hen do. As a bride, you deserve that. However, as a person, you were divisive and hurtful towards a woman who I have loved and continue to love deeply.
“A woman who opened her home and heart to you. You decided, for whatever reason, not to invite her, your prospective mother-in-law, to your hen night, yet Adam invited his father-in-law, your dad, to his stag night,” the message continued. “You invited your mum (quite rightly) and even your mum’s assistant, your sisters, your friends, my niece, but not my sister, your future mother-in-law. I have also seen messages passing between her and Adam about this and other matters, and, quite frankly, I expected better of you and definitely of Adam. You have inflicted a hurt on my sister that will take a very long time to heal if ever.”
Holly and Adam Ramsay Peaty tied the knot in December
Following their wedding, Holly and Adam have put on a united front, combining their last names and both going by ‘Ramsay Peaty’. They have also been posting highlights from their honeymoon this month. As for Adam’s mother, Caroline, in December, the Daily Mailquoted one of her latest Instagram posts.
It read: “I won’t be saying ‘2026 is going to be my year.’ I’ll be praying that I recover next year, that my heart never has to break like this again, that I never have to survive something like this again. I’ll be praying for peace… real peace, the kind that lets me breathe without fighting for it. I deserve a year that doesn’t hurt.”
Emmy Award-winning actor Catherine O’Hara, best-known for legendary comedy roles in “Schitt’s Creek,” “Home Alone,” “SCTV” and other TV and film productions, has died at age 71, according to her representative.
O’Hara died at her home in Los Angeles’s Bentwood area “following a brief illness,” according to a statement from her agency, CAA. More details were not immediately available.
The Canadian actor, writer and comedian rose to fame as one of the original cast members on the comedy sketch show SCTV. She starred in several Tim Burton-directed films, Beetlejuice (1988), The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993) and Frankenweenie (2012).
In an Instagram post, actor Macaulay Culkin shared a then-and-now image with O’Hara, who played mom Kate McCallister alongside Culkin as son Kevin in “Home Alone.”
“Mama. I thought we had time,” Culkin said in his post. “I wanted more. I wanted to sit in a chair next to you. I heard you. But I had so much more to say. I love you. I’ll see you later.”
O’Hara spoke at the ceremony when Culkin received a Hollywood Walk of Fame star in 2023.
O’Hara also delivered laughs in mockumentaries like “Best in Show” (2000) and “A Mighty Wind” (2003).
More recently, she earned two Canadian Screen Awards for Best Lead Actress for her work on “Schitt’s Creek.” Her role as eccentric former soap opera actor and family matriarch Moira Rose earned O’Hara an Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series and a Golden Globe Award for Best Performance by an Actress in a Comedy Television Series.
O’Hara also portrayed a psychotherapist in the second season of HBO’s “The Last of Us” and a producer in “The Studio” alongside Seth Rogen.
“Oh, genius to be near you. Eternally grateful,” “The Last of Us” co-star Pedro Pascal said on Instagram. “There is less light in my world. This lucky world that had you will keep you, always.”
O’Hara grew up in the Toronto area and took a job at the improvisational comedy club Second City Theatre. She became a member of the company in the mid-1970s when the group launched what would become the hit comedy TV show “SCTV.” The show was picked up for late-night viewing in 1981 in the United States.
The series featured a who’s-who list of comedic stars, including O’Hara, John Candy, Eugene Levy, Martin Short, Rick Moranis and more. O’Hara won an Emmy Award and earned four Emmy nominations for her writing on the show.
She was named an Officer of the Order of Canada in 2017.
O’Hara supported several charities, including Upward Bound House, a Los Angeles nonprofit working to end homelessness. O’Hara also was a staunch advocate for the LGBTQ+ community.
“We are deeply saddened by the passing of the incomparable Catherine O’Hara, whose brilliance and fearless humor helped create space for queer joy long before allyship was widely named, let alone celebrated,” the Los Angeles LGBT Center said. “Through unforgettable roles—from Schitt’s Creek to Home Alone, she modeled chosen family, tenderness, and self-expression with such warmth and dignity that invited audiences to see authentic self-expression as something to embrace. For generations of LGBTQ+ people, her work offered permission to be fully ourselves, often when the world was far less welcoming. Her presence became part of our traditions, especially during the holidays, and her legacy will forever remind us that allyship, when done with love, can change culture.”
O’Hara is survived by her husband, Bo Welch, and sons Matthew and Luke.

It’s been eight years since Matt Lauer was forced out of the spotlight following allegations of sexual misconduct. During that time, his three children have managed to mostly stay out of the limelight.
Lauer married Dutch model Annette Roque in 1998. The couple went on to welcome sons Jack and Thijs and daughter Romy.
Once Lauer’s alleged misconduct made headlines in 2017, he was fired from NBC after being a host on the network for more than two decades. (Lauer was accused by a female colleague of inappropriate behavior during NBC’s coverage of the Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia, three years prior.)
Lauer said in a statement at the time that he was “truly sorry” for the “pain I have caused others by my words and actions,” but the fallout from the scandal poisoned his career and affected his romantic relationship.
Matt Lauer and his second wife, Annette Roque, were months away from celebrating their 20th wedding anniversary when the TV host was hit by scandal. In November 2017, Lauer’s contract as cohost of NBC’s Today was terminated when he was accused of sexual misconduct. Lauer allegedly harassed a female staffer when they covered the Winter […]
Roque filed for divorce in July 2019 and Lauer since has worked hard to rebuild his connection with his kids. “He is on good terms with his kids, which was the most important thing for him,” a source exclusively told Us Weekly in April 2024. “This was not always the case post-divorce but now he’s good with the kids.”
Scroll down for everything we know about Lauer’s children:

Lauer and Roque welcomed their first child, son Jack, in June 2001. “Becoming a dad gave me perspective; it brought balance to my life,” Lauer told Good Housekeeping in 2007.
The following year, Lauer told his Today cohosts that his eldest son was a “sports fanatic,” with whom he frequently attended games with in New York City. The pair was spotted at the New York Knicks games and New York Rangers games over the years.
“All he cares about is sports. Baseball in the summer, basketball in the winter, football in the fall. He loves it,” Lauer said of Jack in 2008.
As an adult, Jack has managed to stay out of the public eye. He doesn’t have a public social media account and hasn’t popped up on sister Romy’s profile in recent years.
Six years after Matt Lauer was fired from Today following his misconduct scandal, he reunited with several of his former coworkers. Lauer, 65, was spotted at the wedding of former show producer Jennifer Long in New York City on Saturday, December 9. Lauer wore a black suit, matching girlfriend Shamin Abas’ dark gown. They held […]

Romy is the only daughter of Lauer and ex-wife Roque. She was born in October 2003. Romy made her TV debut at 3 years old when her father read her a story on a special episode of Sesame Street.
Over the years, Romy has focused on horseback riding, having competed in jumping and other events since she was young. Romy has continued to compete at a high level since going off to University of Miami for college in 2022.
Romy has been dating University of Miami tennis player Antonio Prat since April 2023, according to her Instagram. “Happy to live by your side. 730 days. Love you ❤️,” Prat wrote via Instagram in April 2025, celebrating the couple’s second anniversary.
Romy made headlines in September 2024 when news broke that she crashed a car into a fence in the Hamptons in July of that year. Romy was given a traffic ticket for leaving the scene, according to People. She never went to trial for the incident.

Lauer and Roque’s youngest child, son Thijs, was born in November 2006. Thijs is pronounced “Tice,” and is a common Dutch name short for Matthijs (a.k.a. the Dutch equivalent of Matthew.) Roque is from the Netherlands and Lauer’s full name is Matthew, so Thijs is a nod to both parents.

Thijs was born two months after Roque filed for divorce from Lauer in September 2006, citing “cruel and inhumane” behavior. She withdrew her petition three weeks later, but the pair split for good in 2019.
Thijs has remained out of the spotlight during his teenage years and into young adulthood. He has a social media account, but it is private. Thijs, however, was spotted in a photo from a trip to Mongolia in 2023, which his sister, Romy, posted on her Instagram.
According to his Instagram bio, Thijs is a student at Boston College. Thijs was highlighted in June 2025 via Boston College 2030’s social media page, where he shared he was living in Switzerland at boarding school for three years before returning to the U.S. for college. “I’m a Swiss ski instructor (love to ski) and like [to] go to the gym,” the profile read.
Brandy’s younger brother, Ray J, just shared a heartbreaking update about his health. The 45-year-old singer and songwriter updated his fans in a video shared to social media on Tuesday, January 27, 2026. Appearing visibly weakened, he delivered a frightening prognosis: “2027 is definitely a wrap for me. That’s what the doctor said.”
The “Sexy Can I” was hospitalized earlier this month in Las Vegas for severe pneumonia which severely damaged his heart.
“My heart’s only beating 25 percent, but as long as I stay focused and stay on the right path, everything will be all right,” he said in a January 25 Instagram video. “My health is not OK, so I thank everybody for supporting and praying for me through everything I’ve been in the hospital.” During the separate, more alarming stream on January 27, he went further, claiming doctors told him he had as little as three weeks left to live.
Brandy and Ray J during a Disneyland Concert in Anaheim, California
The support and prayers are surely coming from his big sister. While the 46-year-old Moesha actress hasn’t released a formal statement, Ray J revealed that Brandy has been a constant source of strength behind the scenes. In his recent videos, he expressed deep gratitude for his sister, revealing that Brandy has even paid his bills for the rest of the year so he can focus entirely on his medical checkups and recovery.
Ray J’s recent pneumonia diagnosis wasn’t his first. In 2021, the singer was treated for the lung infection during the COVID-19 pandemic. At the time, he told TMZ: “I thought it was over. I started praying and knew God is good, so I just kept praying.” This time, however, the singer admitted that past lifestyle choices, including “partying too hard,” likely contributed to his current heart condition.
The singers were born to Willie Norwood and Sonja Bates-Norwood in McComb, Mississippi. Ray J, who was born William Ray Norwood Jr., was creative from a young age, starring in commercials and television shows before he was even 10.
In 1983, the family relocated to Los Angeles where both Ray J and Brandy’s careers blossomed. The two both started making music, with Ray J’s debut album, Everything You Want, gaining traction on the charts.
In 2001, the siblings collaborated on a cover of Phil Collins‘ “Another Day in Paradise.” They’ve also performed together on tour and for the Brandy & Ray J: A Family Business reality show soundtrack.
But recently, Ray J opened up about his strained bond with his big sister. “I love my sister, but I’m an embarrassment to them,” he said during an appearance on the Drop the Lo podcast.
Despite these feelings of distance, the current health crisis seems to have pulled the family back together, with Ray J noting his parents were accompanying him to critical medical appointments this week.
Ray J’s family
In 2016, Ray J married Princess Love after meeting through the boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. The couple shared their relationship on VH1’s Love & Hop Hop: Hollywood. Two years after marrying, they welcomed their daughter MelodyLove. In 2020, Princess gave birth to their son, EpikRay.
Ray J and Princess are not currently living together, although they are technically still married. In February 2024, she filed for divorce from the singer for the fourth time. In his recent health updates, Ray J emphasized that his primary focus now is ensuring his family is taken care of. “My baby mama gon’ be straight, my kids gon’ be straight… I did my part here,” he told viewers during his January 27 stream.
Ferguson, 50, shared that he recently invited Lane, 69, and Pamela Adlon over to his home for dinner during the latest episode of his “Dinner’s on Me” podcast. Before the meal, he recalled using Lane’s very famous Disney character, The Lion King’s Timon, as a touchpoint for Beckett and son Sullivan, 3, to help recognize their impending guests. (Ferguson shares both his sons with husband Justin Mikita.)
“[Lane] was in town shooting something and we’ve been trying to meet for dinner and it was just easier. I was like, ‘Do you just want me to cook for you? I’ll cook for you.’ And he came over,” the Modern Family star explained. “And I was like, ‘You know Nathan, of course. You’ve listened to him, you know his voice from [Timon in] The Lion King.’ So I played ‘Hakuna Matata’ and on my way to school, they were singing ‘Hakuna Matata.’ And I was like, ‘This is Nathan who is coming to dinner!’”
He continued, “So that evening, Nathan comes over with Pam, and Nathan comes in, and my son goes, ‘I know who you are!’ He called him, ‘Athan.’ ‘Athan, Athan, Athan, I know who you are! You’re from ‘Hakuna Matata,’ you’re from Lion King!‘”
While Ferguson’s kids were clearly excited, the Only Murders in the Building star was allegedly less than enthused to be recognized for one of his past roles. “Nathan was like, ‘Oh god.’ Like, as if he was being stopped in the street by a fan,” Ferguson recalled with a laugh. “I was like, ‘Nathan, he’s a 5-year-old. Like, let it rest!’”
Lane’s response didn’t dissuade Ferguson’s eldest, though, as Beckett returned shortly after with something hidden behind his back. When he asked Lane to guess what he had, the Birdcage star didn’t hold back.
“He’s like, ‘Athan, Athan, Athan, guess what I have?’” Ferguson remembered. “And Nathan goes, ‘Hepatitis.’”
Despite the joke being more geared toward adults, Ferguson said he wasn’t bothered by Lane’s disposition.
“I loved him so much for just being authentically himself,” Ferguson confessed, adding that Lane has expressed that children aren’t his favorite crowd. “He’s like, ‘I don’t mind kids, but I also don’t relate to them. And I hear an opportunity for a joke and this is what I’m going to give.’”
Lane’s status as Disney royalty has made him a legend to the younger generations. The Emmy winner starred as lovable jungle meerkat Timon in all three of the original Lion King films, one half of the movie’s comedic relief duo with Ernie Sabella Nathan Lane Made Hepatitis Joke to Jesse Tyler Ferguson’s 5-Year-Old Son who portrayed warthog Pumba.
While there is plenty of kid humor throughout each Lion King — including Pumba’s farting noises, which came from Sabella trying to make Lane laugh in early morning recording sessions — there was one adult-leaning joke that made its way into the movie thanks to Lane’s improv.
While appearing on an April 2025 episode of SiriusXM’s Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend show, Lane admitted the scene where Timon puts on a skirt and distracts a group of hyenas came from him “screwing around” in the studio.
“I don’t even remember half of it, but, apparently I said, ‘What do you want me to do, dress in drag and do the hula?’ for some reason,” Lane recalled of the now-famous line. “It must have been a long day. And then they made it a song.”
Lane, who came out publicly as gay in 1999, nearly expanded his kids movie resume with another classic, 1996’s Space Jam. However, the Guys and Dolls actor claimed during a May 2025 interview with Vanity Fair that he was passed over for the role due to homophobia.
“I was told [being gay did] impact a movie that I didn’t really care about: Space Jam. I was up for the part that the guy from Seinfeld wound up playing,” Lane said, referencing the role of Michael Jordan’s publicist that ultimately went to Wayne Knight. “I was up for that part. Apparently the director saw me hosting the Tony Awards and thought that suggested I was too gay to play the part. So thank God, I didn’t have to do Space Jam.”
The family of five made a low-key appearance at the release party for Marc Shaiman’s book, Never Mind The Happy: Showbiz Stories From A Sore Winner, marking their first public outing together since 2022.
Sarah was a proud mother as she sported an all-black ensemble with an eye-catching pearl necklace, while Matthew, whom she married in 1997, looked dapper in a red patterned suit.
Sarah and Matthew attended the low-key event with their three kids
Their 23-year-old son, James, was laid back in a gray T-shirt and black jeans, while 16-year-old Tabitha looked chic in a green sweater and black pants. Her twin sister Marion opted for a beige blouse and blue jeans on the night.
Tabitha and Marion’s most recent public appearance was at the premiere of Smash on Broadway in April 2025, while James joined his parents at the Golden Globes in early January 2026, twinning with his father in a tuxedo with a large white flower in the lapel.
Sarah was honored with the Carol Burnett Award on the night, and made sure to pay homage to her family in her emotional acceptance speech. “To my beloved family, my brilliant husband Matthew Broderick, who has been my husband for just shy of 30 years,” she said. “Who has given me a family discount, an all-access pass to his masterclass in acting, comedy and dedication.”
The actress paid tribute to her family during her Golden Globes speech
“And to the family we have made. Our divine James Wilkie, [Marion] and Tabitha, oh God. I love you so deeply and admire so much the people that you are becoming. That every day at home and at work, I want to make you proud,” she concluded.

While James is pursuing a career in Hollywood, and even starred alongside his father in an episode of Elsbeth in February 2025, Tabitha and Marion are less interested in following in their parents’ footsteps. “I really want my children to be educated in the ways that are fulfilling to them,” the Sex and the City star told E! News.
“I don’t think that there is one way to be an educated person or to be equipped to be an adult and try to fashion a life for yourself after what would be considered ‘finishing college’ – let’s say 22 years old.”
“You want for them to be pursuing things that are exciting and challenging and hard and gratifying and to be able to ultimately take care of themselves, support themselves – emotionally, financially,” she continued.
James has dipped his toes in to the world of acting
“And that they can be in the world and be a reliable person to themselves and to other people. And so we talk about work like that.” While the twins are not interested in an acting career, they have shown an increasing affinity for fashion, as Sarah told W Magazine.
“They like clothing, but it’s not playing an oversized role in their life. They definitely have ideas about how they want to feel and look when they walk out the door, but they don’t seem particularly distracted [by it],” she explained.
UPDATE — 1/27/26, 5:40 p.m. ET: Gene Hackman’s home has been sold nearly one year after the actor’s shocking death.
Realtor.com reported on Tuesday, January 24, that Hackman and wife Betsy Arakawa’s former home, which was listed for $6.25 million, is pending sale less than two weeks after it was initially listed. The home’s sale has been accepted on a contingent offer, meaning that several conditions must be met before the deal can be officially closed. The offer amount was not revealed.
Original story below:
Gene Hackman and wife Betsy Arakawa’s home in Santa Fe, New Mexico, has been listed for sale nearly a year after they were found dead inside.
Agents Tara S. Earley and Ricky Allen of Sotheby’s International Realty confirmed to the Wall Street Journal on Thursday, January 15, that the 53-acre estate is on the market for $6.25 million.
“There will be some buyers that are just adverse to purchasing a property where a death has occurred,” Earley told the publication. “There are other buyers for whom that doesn’t matter. We are selling the property on its virtues and all of the positives.”
The agents confirmed the home has been cleared of Hackman and Arakawa’s personal effects and professionally staged.
Academy Award winner Gene Hackman and his wife, Betsy Arakawa, died in February 2025 at the respective ages of 95 and 64. Us Weekly confirmed on February 27, 2025, that the actor and his spouse were found dead one day earlier inside their shared Santa Fe, New Mexico house. “It is with great sadness that […]
While the realtors said they would typically attach a celebrity premium to a home associated with a notable actor, this situation is a little different. As a result, Earley said, “We just priced it based on what we felt was the fair market value.”
Us Weekly has reached out to Earley and Allen for additional comment.
The six-bedroom estate is located in a gated community and includes a putting green and an artist’s studio. The main house boasts three bedrooms, but the property also features a three-bedroom guesthouse, a lap pool and a library where Hackman frequently watched movies.
“The Hackmans embraced Santa Fe, and Santa Fe embraced them,” Earley said. “You would see them in town and they were not treated as celebrities.”

The agent said Hackman “went into the Artisan art store and bought his supplies like everyone else.”
Us confirmed that the actor and Arakawa were found dead inside their shared Santa Fe, New Mexico, house, on February 27, 2025.
“It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our father, Gene Hackman and his wife, Betsy,” Hackman’s daughters and granddaughter said in a statement to Us at the time. “He was loved and admired by millions around the world for his brilliant acting career, but to us, he was always just Dad and Grandpa. We will miss him sorely and are devastated by the loss.”
The cause of death for Arakawa was ruled as hantavirus pulmonary syndrome. According to the Mayo Clinic, the rare infectious disease begins with flu-like symptoms and progresses rapidly to more severe disease.
Jeffrey Mayer/WireImage Oscar winner Gene Hackman and his wife, classical pianist Betsy Arakawa, were married for over 30 years before they were found dead on February 26. Hackman was first married to Faye Maltese from 1956 to 1986. The couple shared three children, Christopher, Elizabeth and Leslie. Maltese died in 2017. The Superman actor went […]
A private memorial was held for Hackman and Arakawa in New Mexico, People reported in April 2025. The service was attended by Hackman’s three children, son Christopher Allen and daughters Elizabeth Jean and Leslie Anne, whom he shared with ex-wife Faye Maltese.
During the 2025 Emmys in September 2025, some viewers were surprised to see Hackman missing from the in memoriam segment. His name was ultimately included as part of a longer dedication on the Emmys website.
His absence was reportedly due to time constraints and the producers’ focus on actors known primarily for their television work, rather than film.
Martha Stewart has spoken out about the current climate in the United States.
The star took to her social media days after the fatal shooting of Alex Pretti, a 37-year-old anti-Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agitator in Minneapolis – and weeks after Renee Good was also shot and killed during an encounter with an ICE officer.
Stewart credited her 14-year-old granddaughter, Jude Stewart, for nudging her to speak out about the ICE protests that have erupted in the Minnesota city, as well as protests held across the U.S.
The bestselling author, 84, shared an excerpt of her granddaughter’s text message, which read: “I’m not sure it’s excusable to not be speaking up right now.”

Stewart shared the screenshot of the text, with her own caption on top, writing: “My granddaughter wrote this to me yesterday and she is fourteen and sensitive to what is going on in our country as we all should be.”
She added, “I am disheartened and sad each and every day that we cannot demonstrate our sympathy for the beleaguered, that we are told immigrants, which most of us are or descended from are unwelcome, that we cannot show our frustration in peaceful demonstrations and that we can be attacked and even killed by Federal troops. Things must and have to change quickly and peacefully.”
The star noted beneath the photo statement: “Granddaughter Jude wrote me a note yesterday I took it to heart and posted the above.”
Perry urged her followers to call their senators before Jan. 31 in order to block ICE funding. The post included suggestions about what to say on the phone when speaking to representatives in Congress.

Meanwhile, Valerie Bertinelli touched on the topic of immigration in a post dedicated to her late ex-husband, Eddie Van Halen, on what would have been his 71st birthday.
Eddie, who died at age 65 in October 2020 after battling cancer, was born in the Netherlands and immigrated to the U.S. in the 1960s – eventually forging a successful rock career with his band Van Halen.
Bertinelli wrote in the caption, “You came to America as a young child, knowing only three words in English, playing music with your father and brother on the boat that carried you here. An immigrant who changed the face of music and left his legacy in a light that continues to shine. Happy birthday, Ed,” adding a heart emoji.

Fans applauded Bertiinelli for highlighting Eddie being an immigrant, with one person writing, “Love that you highlighted that he was an immigrant for those who don’t understand how much immigrants add to the fabric of USA.”
Another commenter wrote, “Happy birthday to one of the millions of immigrants who made America more beautiful in many ways! God bless the memory of Ed and all who gave us so much glorious life and creativity in a free country!”

“Such a beautiful post Valerie. I can’t imagine how difficult & scary it was for Eddie & Alex to come to a strange place being so young and & not knowing English. Eddie’s an icon who put smiles on fan’s faces across the world for decades. Eddie you’ll always be missed and loved,” a fan penned. Bertinelli liked the comment.
Her son Wolfgang also wrote: “Love you, Ma,” adding a heart emoji.
Sarah Shahi has no regrets about providing tips and advice about sexually explicit topics — including oral sex and orgasms — in her new advice book.
In her Us Weekly cover story, Shahi, 46, addressed her decision to devote entire chapters in Life Is Lifey, which is out now, to sex education, saying, “[When I was on Sex/Life], so many women reached out that were like, ‘I’ve never had an orgasm.’ There were so many aspects of women when it came to their physicality and their body and their desire that they had ignored for so long.”
Shahi had hope that her experiences would help others.
“Personally, I was never promiscuous. I didn’t learn about anatomy until later on in my life, and men — and that was something that did feel very intimidating to me,” she noted. “After Sex/ Life, it just kind of came back full circle to me: This is human nature, and pleasure is a birthright. We’re not here to simply service, but we’re here to be serviced as well.”
Friends forever! The cast of Sex/Life might portray controversial characters onscreen, but off screen, they are a close-knit group. Sarah Shahi, Adam Demos, Mike Vogel and Margaret Odette’s bond began while filming the Netflix drama in the fall of 2020 and has continued through press tours and beyond. The show documents Billie’s (Shahi) sexy and […]
Sex/Life aired on Netflix from 2021 to 2023 and followed a housewife who was suffering from a severe midlife crisis. While filming the show, Shahi went through her own changes in her personal life when she ended her marriage to Steve Howey.
“What’s the point of hardship if you’re not able to share your story with somebody else? I refuse to believe that the pain I experienced was for nothing, so that became my driving force in talking about the hard things,” Shahi told Us. “The chapters where I talk about orgasms and b*** j*** was something I questioned because I thought it would be looked upon poorly. But the minute I’m afraid to do something, that’s a signal to go ahead.”
Sarah Shahi.Sabrina Lantos/Netflix
Shahi’s book relied on her personal stories to offer insight to others. One chapter detailed b*** j*** tips she learned when she moved to Los Angeles in the early 2000s. Shahi credited a two-day seminar that helped her gain confidence in the sex act, which she then performed on her boyfriend at the time who was “ten years older, desirable, and a critically acclaimed (in his mind) B+ movie star.”
The actress also devoted a separate section to the importance of orgasms, writing, “After [Sex/Life] premiered, what hit me the hardest was learning how many women have never experienced an orgasm. Studies show that up to half of women aren’t satisfied with how often they reach that biological imperative. …. After years of extensive personal research (you’re welcome), I’ve realized that embracing your sexuality is like unlocking the cheat code to your best self.”
Putting it all out there! After premiering on Netflix in June 2021, Sex/Life has captivated fans with its portrayal of mother and housewife Billie (Sarah Shahi) attempting to find more fulfillment in her life. The drama follows Billie in her marriage to husband Cooper (Mike Vogel). As Billie struggles to find more meaning in herself, […]
“I became the poster child for unhappily married women overnight [through Sex/Life]. And doing something like that allowed me to connect with so many people,” she shared. “This connected me to the audience on such a heart/soul level. That kind of connection is so rare, and I’m very grateful for that. It’s something that, moving forward, the projects that I want to align with have elements of that too — real personal, heartfelt connection.”

Shahi expressed hope that others learn from her mistakes, adding, “I really hope that people have the courage to live their lives as truthfully as they can. That’s literally what I want. I really want people to have the guts to live authentically and to not worry about what people think.”
She concluded: “I wrote this book to heal myself. I never expected it to make the splash that it’s making. But my point in writing it is, there was so much lightness that came from me finally doing me that I would love for other people to experience that same kind of feeling.”
