    Our Verdict

    We see similar offers come and go; this round of $750/$50 is from the better we see. I’m seeing this offer on my business cards. There are usually promo codes to save on shipping and/or activation fees, let us know what promo codes you see in the comments or any tips for maximizing this this deal.

    When you pay for Amex gift cards with an Amex card it’ll count toward a spend requirement but will not earn points, I believe.

    Our Verdict

    We’ve seen similar offers in the past. This stacks beautifully with the American Express $200 business Platinum credit if you find the offer on that card. Go through a shopping portal as well.

    Many years ago we saw Amex sometimes disallow a double-dip on this as they’ve clawed back the double-take in the past. I’d recommend trying to spend $222 to ensure there’s $200 charge left for the Business Platinum credit, after getting the $22 back from the Amex Offer.

    Seems like this offer is mainly (only?) showing on the Platinum card. Works well with the new Platinum Walmart+ membership benefit.

    Walmart is not typically a bonused store and I’d find this offer useful given that I shop more at Walmart.com now with my Walmart+ membership. Another option for Walmart now is Chase Freedom or Discover IT for 5% back this quarter. 

    You can simply buy a $500 Walmart gift card which can then be used in Walmart stores or Walmart gas or Sam’s Club. (Bulk gift card purchases are excluded, but ordinary gift card and e-gift card purchases should work.)

    Nice savings. I believe business cards got the % version and personal cards got the $ version. In my past experiences, buying a gift card at the front desk worked to trigger the AmEx Offer credit as well, despite the terms indicating otherwise.

    Our Verdict

    Pretty good deal as it’s the same as the regular Walmart+ subscription but without Paramount+ and instead 2% back when you spend $250. The main benefit is currently you get $100 off your next purchase of $100+ (make sure that ad is still showing when you sign up).

    Update 5/10/24: they’ve now added the search bar to the app as well. (Hat tip to NotABostonSportsFan)

    Original Post 11/1/23:

    American Express has added a search bar within the AmEx Offers interface to easily pull up Available or Saved offers. I only see it in the online login, not in the Amex mobile app.
