Timeline of the winter storm in the Philadelphia region

With temperatures in the teens initially, the snow will have the fluff factor, which means it will pile up and accumulate very quickly.

Snow will start to changeover to sleet well south of the city by late morning into the early afternoon as milder air works its way into the storm.

This mixing will continue to nudge toward the I-95 corridor into the afternoon and into the northwestern suburbs by the afternoon.

As temperatures continue to rise, the shore will eventually switch over to plain rain with temperatures in the upper 30s.

The location with the best chance of staying all snow will be far northwest into the Lehigh Valley and Poconos.

The storm exits by late Sunday night.
