HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) — A man is dead after a shooting in a north Harris County apartment complex on Monday evening, according to authorities.

In a social media post, the Harris County Precinct 4 Constable’s Office said deputies were investigating a shooting at the Venti Apartments, located in the 14300 block of Ella Boulevard.

Authorities said a man with multiple gunshot wounds was taken from the scene to a local hospital by EMS.

The victim was later pronounced dead by medical staff, according to officials.

In the post, Pct. 4 authorities said the investigation was still ongoing.

No information was immediately released on the shooter or what led to the shooting.
