DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES (KABC) — Police swarmed an apartment building in downtown Los Angeles following reports of a shooting Wednesday morning.

Officers around 6:30 a.m. responded to the Broadway Palace Apartments at 9th Street and Broadway after receiving a report of a woman with a rifle on a balcony. Shortly after they responded, they reportedly heard shots fired.

The LAPD said it was not an active shooter.

AIR7 was overhead where several patrol vehicles could be seen stationed around the building.

There were no indications that anybody was hit or injured.
