NEWARK, Del. (WPVI) — Interstate 95 northbound and one lane of I-95 southbound are closed in Newark, Delaware, on Friday after a serious crash.
According to early reports from police, the crash happened in the southbound lanes near the Joe Biden rest area, and involved a vehicle that went airborne, crashing through the median into the northbound lanes.

The airborne vehicle struck several other vehicles, including a tractor-trailer, in the northbound lanes.
There are at least five injuries, with three being critical, according to officials.
Delays are expected.
