Suspects accused of armed robbery in bank parking lot arrested, Elk Grove police say

(FOX40.COM) — Three people were arrested after they allegedly robbed a person at gunpoint in a bank parking lot, according to the Elk Grove Police Department.

Around 11 a.m. on Oct. 2, EGPD said two masked suspects robbed a person at gun point in a bank parking lot. The suspects grabbed the victim’s wallet and fled the area in a waiting getaway car with a third suspect.

EGPD launched an investigation and later found located the suspects’ vehicle. The car was pulled over and one of the three suspects was arrested. Police said the other two suspects were later identified and arrested the same day.

“We’ll say it louder for the people in the back, you can’t get away with crimes out here,” EGPD said on social media.

All three suspects were booked into the Sacramento County Main Jail and face robbery and firearm charges on bail.
