Summit Health has opened a 7,428-square-foot location on Merrick Road in Rockville Centre.
The 15-exam-room facility offers primary care as well as specialties in allergy/immunology, cardiology, dermatology, internal medicine, orthopedics, and sports medicine.
“The Rockville Centre hub brings together trusted local experts to deliver high-quality, accessible health care,” Dr. Dan Frogel, chief medical officer for Summit Health’s New York region, said in a statement.
“With this latest hub, we also continue to enhance clinical services available to our CityMD urgent care patients by leveraging skilled local providers of primary and specialty care,” he added. “We are building a simplified health care experience that seeks to treat patients on every corner and in every community.”
In 2022, Summit Health has added eight practices on Long Island. These practices include Long Island Allergies; Medical Associates; Central Nassau Pediatrics; Suffolk Orthopaedic Associates; Family Practitioner Adrian Lombardi, MD; Cardiologist Salvatore Trazzera, MD; North Shore Cardiac Imaging Family Medical Health and Neurologist Ellen Braunstein, MD.
