Structures threatened after fiery crash involving 2 semitrailers on 15 Freeway in Devore

DEVORE, Calif. (KABC) — Flames spread to nearby brush and ignited a wildfire that was threatening structures Saturday afternoon after a fiery crash involving two semitrailers on the 15 Freeway in Devore, officials said.

The collision occurred shortly before 12:30 p.m. on the northbound side of the freeway, near Kenwood Avenue, according to a California Highway Patrol incident log. At least one person was injured.

The cause of the crash was unknown.
