Last night’s inaugural GQ Global Creativity Awards was a high-octane gathering of the world’s boldest and brightest creative multihyphenates. Once our issue cover stars Tim Cook, Donald Glover (wearing a lacquered green Valentino jacket), and Hoyeon (wearing a floral-embroidered Louis Vuitton gown) hit the red carpet, the party continued inside with seafood towers and Bombay Sapphire cocktails.

And though the evening’s theme may have been celebrating big ideas for a better world, the party was a big-time New York City affair. And in NYC, if you find yourself wandering certain thoroughfares, you’re sure to encounter a sidewalk artist (or several) selling illustrations of famous faces. So it was only fitting that the guests at our bash received caricatures of their very own, thanks to our resident artist Greg Dohlen. Presented by Bombay Sapphire and hosted by local fashion flâneur Mordechai Rubinstein, aka Mr. Mort, VIPs like Hoyeon, Zazie Beetz, A$AP Ferg, Luka Sabbat, and more posed for their souvenir portraits and answered interview questions about what inspires their creativity, while upstairs, French jazz duo DOMi & JD kept the vibe going.
