Springfield's Red Rose Pizzeria expands hours to meet high demand

[ad_1]

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – Red Rose Pizzeria in downtown Springfield will reopen on Tuesdays starting November 4th, after a four-year hiatus due to staffing shortages during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The popular restaurant, known for its pizza, had previously closed on Tuesdays to provide a work-life balance for its employees when staffing was limited.

Now, with sufficient staff, the pizzeria is ready to meet customer demand by expanding its operating days. “We’ve been so busy Wednesday through Sunday that we thought that by opening up on Tuesday it would actually take a little pressure off of the employees,” said Rita Caputo, owner and manager of Red Rose Pizzeria.

Red Rose Pizzeria will be open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Tuesdays. The decision to reopen on Tuesdays comes after observing a significant demand from customers.

The pizzeria will continue its regular hours from Wednesday to Sunday, but will remain closed on Mondays.
