A unique commercial compound on the North Fork has been listed for sale for the first time in nearly 20 years.

The Dimon Estate, which has a 5,175-square-foot restaurant on 3.78 acres of gardens and orchards at 370 Manor Lane in Jamesport, is priced at $3.25 million.

The property, formerly known as the Jamesport Manor Inn, went through extensive renovations before it was acquired by restaurateur Matt Kar in 2006.

“This property has been a labor of love for us, and we’re excited to pass the torch to a new owner who can continue its legacy of exceptional dining and unforgettable events hosted on-site,” Kar said in a written statement.

The building has a spacious dining area, fully equipped commercial kitchen, and a full basement with high ceilings suitable for storage and mechanicals, according to listing brokers Jeff Sztorc and Hal Zwick of the Compass Hamptons Commercial Real Estate Team.

“The Dimon Estate is a jewel of the North Fork, blending historical significance with modern hospitality,” Zwick said. “It’s a privilege to represent such a unique and vibrant property.”

The Jamesport property was once part of an estate that stretched from the Long Island Sound to the Peconic Bay, according to the property’s website, which chronicles the storied East End history of the Dimon family that dates back to 1704. The manor house on the property first became a restaurant in 1947 when it was called Twin Oaks. The restaurant went through several owners and operators over the years before Kar took it over.

“This is a rare opportunity for a turn-key business,” says Sztorc. “This is one of the most charming restorations of an incredible restaurant and event building on the North Fork. The property and grounds are immaculate with one-of-a-kind landscaping. The possibilities are endless.”
