Speed implicated in truck crash leading to rollover

Firefighters and EMT’s were called to the scene of a roll over truck incident near 39th SW and SW Raymond Monday night.

A pickup truck that witnesses said was speeding down Raymond Street SW then clipped the roundabout curb at 39th, sending it to the parking strip where it took out some trees then went on on to hit one car and ended up on its side.

At one point the truck was reported to be smoking, presenting a potential fire hazard.

Fire fighters had to cut the driver out of the wreckage.He was treated at the scene.
