SPAC Aquaron Acquisition Corp. (NASDAQ:AQU) has agreed to merge with Bestpath IoT Technology, a Chinese developer of hydrogen fuel cell-powered vehicles.
The deal values the combined company at an initial equity value of around $1.2B.
Aquaron held its initial public offering in October, raising approximately $50M to seek out a business combination in the new energy sector.
