Short-term accommodation provider Sonder has launched its first hotel collection, comprised of 23 Sonder boutique properties across 13 markets, called Powered by Sonder, the company announced Tuesday.

The Powered by Sonder collection includes such properties as Chambers in New York, and Yelo Jean Médecin and Atala in France, with “new properties expected to be added,” the company said in a statement.

Although widely known as a short-term housing provider, “hotels make up a significant and growing part of our portfolio,” Sonder co-founder and CEO Francis Davidson said in a statement.

In total, Sonder’s portfolio includes approximately 18,200 units across more than 40 markets globally, according to the hospitality company.
