Sleater-Kinney have announced their new LP, Little Rope, with a video for its first single, “Hell.” Their follow-up to 2021’s Path of Wellness is due out January 19 via Loma Vista. The black-and-white video for “Hell” was directed by Ashley Connor and stars Miranda July. The band also announced a run of 2024 North American tour dates; check out the full list of dates, the album artwork and tracklist, and the video for “Hell” below.

Little Rope was recorded at Flora Recording and Playback in Portland, Oregon, with John Congleton. It was partially inspired by the deaths of Brownstein’s mother and stepfather while vacationing in Italy.

Sleater-Kinney are due to perform as part of Pitchfork Festival London on November 10. Revisit  “What Carrie Brownstein Is Listening to Right Now” on the Pitch.
