Six arrested for alleged drug house near Jamestown Elementary

An investigation began due to an anonymous tip about suspected drug activity at a residence on Sierra Avenue, TCSO said. Detectives reported that evidence revealed ongoing illegal drug sales at the residence.

TNT and the TCSO SWAT Team served the warrant and detained John Cosovich, Ismael Viscarra, David Henry Elliot, Robin Million, Joseph McIntyre, and Dylan Lay, the sheriff’s office said.

In Cosovich’s room, detectives uncovered multiple firearms, several hundred rounds of ammunition, and drug paraphernalia. In Elliot’s, a loaded unsterilized handgun, and half an ounce of methamphetamine, digital scales, and drug paraphernalia were found by detectives, officials said.

Authorities said that records showed Cosovich and Elliot were prohibited from possessing firearms due to felony convictions, and Viscarra had a felony warrant.

From the investigations, detectives confirmed that the residence was being maintained and operated as a frug house, officials said.

After being transported to the DDC, Cosovich and Elliot were booked on charges related to drug sales and illegal possession of firearms, while Viscarra, Million, McIntyre, and Lay were booked on charges related to maintaining a drug house, according to the sheriff’s office.

The residence is located near Jamestown Elementary and is adjacent to a pathway that students frequently use, TCSO said. The distance does not meet the threshold required to file enhanced charges; however, it still poses a risk due to nearby drug activity in residential neighborhoods.
