Week Three of the Big Ten Football season features an interesting slate of games:



FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 15

Virginia at Maryland

7 pm ET – FS1, SiriusXM Big Ten Radio Channel 372

The Maryland Terrapins (2-0) host the Virginia Cavaliers (0-2) at SECU Stadium. In their last outing, the Terrapins defeated the Charlotte 49ers 38-20. The Cavaliers’ last game was a 36-35 loss to the James Madison Dukes.

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 16

Penn State at Illinois

Noon ET – FOX, SiriusXM Big Ten Radio Channel 372

The No. 7 Penn State Nittany Lions (2-0) and the Illinois Fighting Illini (1-1) square off at Memorial Stadium. In their last game, the Nittany Lions knocked off the Delaware Fightin’ Blue Hens 63-7. The Fighting Illini are coming off of a 34-23 loss to the Kansas Jayhawks.

Georgia Southern at Wisconsin

Noon ET – BTN

The Wisconsin Badgers (1-1) and the Georgia Southern Eagles (2-0) meet at Camp Randall Stadium. In their most recent outing, the Badgers lost 31-22 to the Washington State Cougars. The Eagles’ last game was a 49-35 win over the UAB Blazers.

Indiana at Louisville (Indianapolis)

Noon ET – BTN

Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana is the setting for the Louisville Cardinals’ (2-0) matchup against the Indiana Hoosiers. The Cardinals enter the matchup after winning 56-0 over the Murray State Racers in their last game on September 7. The Hoosiers are coming off of a 41-7 win over the Indiana State Sycamores.

Western Michigan at Iowa

3:30 pm ET – BTN, SiriusXM Big Ten Radio Channel 372

The Western Michigan Broncos (1-1) visit the No. 24 Iowa Hawkeyes (2-0) at Kinnick Stadium. In their last game, the Hawkeyes defeated the Iowa State Cyclones 20-13. Last time out, the Broncos were beaten by the Syracuse Orange 48-7.

Virginia Tech at Rutgers

3:30 pm ET – BTN

The Rutgers Scarlet Knights (2-0) host the Virginia Tech Hokies (1-1) at SHI Stadium. The Scarlet Knights knocked off the Temple Owls 36-7 in their most recent game. The Hokies’ last outing ended in a 24-17 loss to the Purdue Boilermakers.

Minnesota at North Carolina

3:30 pm ET – ESPN

The No. 18 North Carolina Tar Heels (2-0) host the Minnesota Golden Gophers (2-0) at Kenan Memorial Stadium. The Tar Heels beat the Appalachian State Mountaineers 40-34 in their most recent outing. The Golden Gophers’ last game ended in a 25-6 win over the Eastern Michigan Eagles.

Northwestern at Duke

3:30 pm ET – ACC Network

The No. 20 Duke Blue Devils (2-0) play the Northwestern Wildcats (1-1) at Brooks Field at Wallace Wade Stadium. In their last game, the Blue Devils won 42-7 over the Lafayette Leopards. The Wildcats’ last game was a 38-7 win over the UTEP Miners.

Western Kentucky at Ohio State

4 pm ET – FOX

The No. 4 Ohio State Buckeyes (2-0) host the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers (2-0) at Ohio Stadium. In their last game, the Buckeyes won 35-7 over the Youngstown State Penguins. The Hilltoppers are coming off of a 52-22 win over the Houston Christian Huskies.

Washington at Michigan State

5 pm ET – Peacock

The No. 8 Washington Huskies (2-0) and the Michigan State Spartans (2-0) meet at Spartan Stadium. In their most recent outing, the Huskies won 43-10 over the Tulsa Golden Hurricane. The Spartans’ most recent outing ended in a 45-14 win over the Richmond Spiders.

Northern Illinois at Nebraska

7 pm ET – FS1

The Nebraska Cornhuskers (0-2) host the Northern Illinois Huskies (1-1) at Memorial Stadium. The Cornhuskers played the Colorado Buffaloes in their most recent game, losing 36-14. Their last time out, the Huskies were defeated by the Southern Illinois Salukis 14-11.

Syracuse at Purdue

7:30 pm ET – NBC

The Syracuse Orange (2-0) visit the Purdue Boilermakers (1-1) at Ross-Ade Stadium. The Orange head into this matchup after a 48-7 win over the Western Michigan Broncos in their most recent outing. The Boilermakers’ last game finished in a 24-17 win over the Virginia Tech Hokies.

Bowling Green at Michigan

7:30 pm ET – BTN, SiriusXM Big Ten Radio Channel 372

The Bowling Green Falcons (1-1) visit the No. 2 Michigan Wolverines (2-0) at Michigan Stadium. In their last outing, the Wolverines won 35-7 over the UNLV Rebels. Their last time out, the Falcons won 38-15 over the Eastern Illinois Panthers.
