Thai Airways and Singapore Airlines have agreed to a new codeshare partnership, the carriers announced Friday.

Initially, they will codeshare on each other’s flights between Singapore and Bangkok. Thai also will codeshare on Singapore’s flights to Cape Town and Johannesburg in South Africa; Los Angeles, New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport, Newark Liberty International Airport, San Francisco and Seattle in the United States; and Vancouver in Canada, according to the carriers. The codeshares will be available by the first quarter of 2023, subject to regulatory approval.

Thai and Singapore said they will explore increased connectivity between Thailand and Singapore, as well as for routes to Europe, India and the Southwest Pacific.
