Simply Spiked is excited to announce the launch of Simply Spiked Food & Floral Art Forms at The International Home and Housewares show March 2019 in Chicago. Simply Spiked will now offer an easy and fun, food and floral centerpiece solution to those inspired to create unique party and event décor.
With the goal to inspire people of all ages and skill levels, Simply Spiked offers the opportunity to easily design jaw-dropping food and floral creations. Simply Spiked panels and forms provide a foundation for the creator to place foods or florals onto its spiked surface with ease. These inter-locking reusable panels are made of food- and dishwasher-safe durable plastics and come in a variety of shapes, sizes and forms such as pyramids, cubes, spheres and more. Simply Spiked Forms allow the user to place and design floral and food items, such as fruits, vegetables, candies, doughnut holes, macaroons, etc., on 3D structures to make show-stopping party sculptures.
After years of creating food and floral sculptures for weddings, baby showers, birthdays, etc., using foam, toothpicks, glue and other common craft supplies, Simply Spiked founder and creator Carina Wood decided there had to be an easier and less time-consuming way to make these non-reusable centerpieces. After searching YouTube, Pinterest and the internet for a solution, Carina discovered that millions of people were using the same, old-fashioned technique and that a better option did not exist. This was her A-Ha moment … Simply Spiked was born. “I have always had a passion for event planning and table décor and I’m so excited to help others create their own vision through Simply Spiked products,” said Wood.
